Beyoncé left. It didn't hurt that she left, but it hurt that she was so perfect to me but she couldn't see her own perfection. As the perfectionist that she is understanding her qualities is probably the most difficult thing for her.
A few days had passed since our last form of blasphemous intimacy. However, she kept her promise. We wouldn't work on building a relationship, but rather a solid friendship and a foundation without lust. I respected it.
I respected her even more for possessing the strength to choose herself over love and to continuously try to better herself.
We go back to school tomorrow and I'm hoping that things are not awkward between us.
Today was a mommy and daughter day. My mom saw how I was snuggled in my room and how I've only come out to use the bathroom and eat.
"You ready?" my mother said as she knocked on the door slightly.
I looked at myself in the mirror. I had on a white fitted shirt and a pink champion sweat suit for the rainy weather in houston, I wore my all white air force ones. My hair was in a sleek bun. I snapped a few pictures and then left my room.
"Nicki let's go!"
"Coming ma!"
My mom and I got in the car and we were on our way to the nail salon.
I pulled out my phone and sent the pictures that I took to Bey.
Me: Attachment: 5 Images Bey 💚: But where are you going looking that fine? 🤔 Me: It's a mommy daughter day lol. Bey 💚: You're so gorgeous it's crazy. Me: Aw thank you Bey. Bey 💚: God I miss you. Me: I miss you too.
At this point I had to put my phone down because I felt the tears coming. I decided to turn my phone off so that I could be focused on my mother. The reason she took me out was to get my mind off of Bey's intimate absence.
We pulled up to the best nail salon in the third ward, of course. Ma only fucks with the best of the best.
"Let's go likkle girl," my mother spoke as she parked the car.
"Coming ma," I laughed as I unbuckled my seatbelt and hopped out of the car.
Ma and I walked in the nail salon and it was beautiful, everything was white and well furnished, it was also black owned which made me feel even better about it.
"I booked Kitty for 12 p.m today for acrylic enhancements and Melissa for a regular manicure," my mother spoke to the receptionist.
"Carol?" said woman as she came walking from the back.

She was super pretty but she was no Beyoncé. Dang it, I'm trying to stop thinking about her.
