~Jiyeon~

I barely see Hoseok ever since our wedding day and it's been a week and a bit now. Even though I tried to stay awake for him, I always end up sleeping before he gets home and whenever I wake up, he will already be at work. Sometimes, I wonder if Hoseok even comes home at all.

Anyways, after getting so many texts and calls, I ended up going to visit Dohyun at one of the café nearby since he's been begging me to forgive him. Because I love him, I agreed to visit him. We talked and laughed for a few hours until I had to come back home. Dohyun kept asking to come over but I declined. The last thing I needed is for Hoseok to come home early and see my boyfriend in his house.

One morning when I managed to see Hoseok before he left, we ended up exchanging numbers since it'll be convenient for us both. It'll also allow me to contact him whenever I need to as well. Hoseok also gave me his workplace details and his manager's number in case there is an emergency and I need him around. He even told his manager and company that their details will be given to me and although I hate to admit it, it was sweet of him to do that for me.

It sucked because I never see him and when I do, it's five minutes in the morning before he heads out. Sometimes, Hoseok is running late and in a hurry so I let him go too. I wanted to set some ground rules with him but since he's so busy I haven't found the right time. Even though I don't like him at all, I can't help but wonder if his real wife will ever feel lonely since Hoseok's never around.

Hoseok's house was so big and beautiful but it was cold because he's never around. It was lonely being in such a big, empty house. I wonder if Hoseok feels like this too since he lives alone.

I got up, showered, ate and brushed my teeth before going to sleep. As much as I'd like to discuss things with Hoseok, I figured it can wait until he's not so absent from my life.

It was the sound of music that woke me up two days after I met Dohyun. I rubbed my eyes and glanced at the time on my phone before getting up and walking out of my room.

I was surprise when I saw that Hoseok have the room furnished just for me. I was a little touched by the gesture but that still doesn't change the fact that he forced me to marry him.

I made my way down the dark hallway towards where the music was coming from. I pressed my ear against the door and knew that Hoseok was home and working. I also wanted to kick myself for being excited that he's home too.

I knocked twice on the door before opening it. I saw Hoseok leaning back on his chair, eyes to the ceiling. The minute I opened the door, his eyes came to me and he smiled.

For some strange reason, my heart skipped a beat. How can this man be smiling at the person he'd forced into marriage? I honestly don't get it. Damn, it was that smile of his.

I closed the door, trying to clear my head.

"You should be sleeping," he said.

I turned to face him, "Look who's talking. Do you know what time it is? It's four in the morning."

Hoseok smiled at that and straightened himself in his chair as I walked over and sat on his sofa, feeling a little awkward.

"What time did you get back?" I asked, desperate for the awkwardness to go away. I'm married to this guy for God's sake!

"Two hours ago," he replied, crossing his legs and looking at me.

I blinked twice, "Then you should be sleeping."

He titled his head to the side to study me, "Are you worried about me?"

I choked at that, "Uh, no."

Hoseok chuckled, "I slept a little throughout the day. There are things I need to finalise," he jerked his head towards the computer screen.

I stared at the screen and didn't understand what I was seeing but I'm guessing it was a song or something.

"You want to hear it?"

My eyes went to his, "Am I allowed to?"

Hoseok gestured for me to go to him with his head and although I don't want to, I ended up getting up and walking towards him.

I stood beside him, trying to concentrate but it was hard since Hoseok was right beside me. He smells so nice too.

"I worked on this one," he said, moving the mouse to play the song.

I could feel myself smiling as I listened to the song. I didn't see that Hoseok's eyes were trained on me since I was too immersed in the song.

"It's good," I said, smiling. I didn't get around to hearing their songs but hearing this, I can tell why they have so many fans.

Hoseok averted his eyes and replied, "Good."

"The vocals," I said, "who's the one who sang during this part?" I pointed at the screen. "I love the voice."

"Mine."

I stared at him, "Yours?"

Hoseok nodded.

I was waiting for him to tell me it was a joke but when he didn't, I said, "For real?"

Hoseok turned his chair around so that his body was facing mine. His eyes came and met mine, "What do you think?"

I blinked. "I thought you're a rapper."

He smirked.

Crap, maybe he can tell that I've been stalking him online or something. I closed my eyes for a few seconds, cursing myself.

I opened my eyes and saw Hoseok watching me closely, "You're not?"

"I can do anything and everything," he winked and turned his chair around so that he's facing the screen once more.

All I could do was just stare at my husband as he continued to work with me standing beside him. The worst thing was that I was no longer hating him as much as I should...I still don't like him but I can stand him now. Maybe...maybe he isn't that much of a jerk like I thought he was.

So why, I thought to myself as I watched Hoseok work in silence, Why did you marry me?
