~Hoseok~
"Taehyung's what?" Hoseok stopped walking as they stepped out of the car.
"He's on a long break," Yoongi told him. "Apparently he talked about it with Namjoon and the managers too."
"He didn't bother to tell us?" Seokjin said in disbelief.
"I don't mind," Jungkook said, quietly. "It seems like he's been having a hard time...so he wanted to take some time off."
"I've been seeing how distant he is with us too," Hoseok said, crossing his arms, "Is this because of Jiyeon's miscarriage? Does he still think it's his fault?"
"I think there's more to it," Jimin replied, running a hand through his hair. "It's best if he takes time off. We can't do much if he's like this."
Hoseok said nothing. He couldn't help but feel as though it was his fault somehow. That he should have sat down properly and talked it out with Taehyung. For Taehyung to just leave like this—
Yoongi sling an arm around Hoseok's neck, saying, "Don't worry, Hoseok. Taehyung just have some things he needs to work through. He'll be back to normal when he returns, okay?"
Hoseok sighed.
"What's with this?" Namjoon asked as he joined them. He'd taken a different car because he had some things to discuss with their managers in private.
"Just reassuring Hoseok that Taehyung's leave have nothing to do with him," Seokjin replied.
Namjoon's eyes slid to Hoseok before he said, "It has nothing to do with you or Jiyeon."
"Are you sure?"
Namjoon nodded. "It's just suffocating right now for him. Taehyung just wants time to explore and have time to himself for a bit. He'll be back before you know it."
Hoseok stayed quiet.
"Come on," Jimin said, linking arms with Hoseok. "Let's all go inside. We're all tired."
Hoseok didn't move. "Why did he not tell us anything? Why just leave like that?"
"Ah," Namjoon ran a hand through his hair, "Well, it was a last minute thing, actually."
Namjoon went on and told them what happened when he and Taehyung were talking earlier this morning. As he was talking, Hoseok was starting to feel lighter...positive that Taehyung just wanted to take a break for himself.

Hoseok stepped into his room, closing the door behind him, careful not to make a noise. His wife was still sleeping.
He made his way towards the bathroom and took a quick shower before changing and walking out. He didn't hesitate and crawled into bed, pulling Jiyeon against him, burying his face in her hair.
The familiar scent that was all Jiyeon made Hoseok's heart race. It's always like this whenever she's near. Jiyeon's presence really changed Hoseok's life.
"Mm," Jiyeon stirred, turning around, hands against his chest, "H-Hoseok?"
"Hi," he murmured, feeling a little bad for waking her.
"Welcome home," she said, sleepily, trying to open her eyes.
Hoseok leaned down, kissing the tip of her nose, "Go to sleep."
"Okay," she murmured, eyes closing.
When he was sure that Jiyeon is asleep, he didn't hesitate and whispered, "I love you."
He watched her and saw her lips curled into a small smile.
"Mm. Me too," she murmured, sleepily.
Hoseok laughed softly, pressing a kiss to her forehead before slowly falling asleep, knowing that when he wakes up, he'll see that Jiyeon is still here. That she'll always be here when he opens his eyes.
