I sat on the bathroom floor, my back to the door with trembling hands as I took in the result of the test. I'd thought that when Hoseok turned his back on me, that my whole world had collapsed. That it was over. But then this had to happen.
Hope, I thought. Maybe someone up there wanted to give me hope and tell me that everything was going to be okay. Or maybe they pitied me and decided to send a little one my way to keep me company, to encourage me to keep going.
I let the tears rolled down my cheeks as I tried to think of what the future will hold for me. My heart was broken and it may never be whole again but one thing's for sure, it needs to keep beating.

"Hoseok-ah," Hoseok's manager said.
Hoseok lifted his eyes from the laptop and they narrowed when they locked on me.
The members looked over at me and gave me encouraging smiles. I didn't bother smiling at them. I don't think I have a right to anymore. The bond we'd all shared was broken.
After meeting with the doctor and confirming the pregnancy, I'd gone to Hoseok's workplace to tell him that I was going to work. I needed to support myself from now on. Something I should never have stopped doing in the first place. In the end, I needed to look after myself and not rely on anyone else.
"Take your time," the manager said to me quietly before gesturing for the other staff members to follow him out and then closed the door behind him. It looked like they were in a middle of a shoot or something.
Hoseok straightened himself and walked over towards me, "Did you forget already? I don't want to see you."
Like anyone can ever forget something like that.
I lifted my head up so that I could maintain eye contact with him, "I want to work."
"Say again?"
"You heard me."
Hoseok crossed his arms, "No."
I glared, "I want to work," I repeated.
"No."
"Why?"
"Why do you think?"
I put my hands on my hip and glared, "Well, you can't stop me. Unless you physically chain me in that big, luxurious house of yours, I'm working. I'm so bored at home and I want to do something else rather than eat and sit around."
Hoseok opened his mouth to say something but I cut him off, "I've made up my mind. I'm just here to tell you that."
I could see his features hardening and that was enough for me to know that he's extremely pissed off. Well, that's too bad for him because I've got to take care of myself and my baby now. Hoseok doesn't need to know anything about the baby too because the minute I made enough money, I was out of here. Hopefully before I start showing.
"You can work here at the company," Hoseok said when he realised he wasn't going to win this argument. "just do it away from me."
Now that, that really hurt and I tried to not let it show.
"No."
Hoseok glared, "You're working here and that's it."
Was he always this controlling or what?
