Two weeks later...
~Jiyeon~
I've been receiving lots of phone calls and texts from the members but none from Hoseok. I didn't reply to any of them.
It was hard trying to move on from Hoseok but I was managing it better than I'd thought. Erasing him from my memories is another thing though. I think of him everyday.
My phone vibrated with a text. It was Namjoon.
Come home. The babies are asking for you.
I stared at that one line for a long while. Home?
Namjoon and I have been exchanging texts here and there. He's the only one I'm talking to at the moment and I'm thinking none of the members or Hoseok knows about it. I didn't want to reply back to anyone but something lead me to reply back to Namjoon's texts.
I can't do that, I replied. I put my phone in my bag and continued walking through the aisle when suddenly—
"Jiyeon?"
I turned around, looking for the person who'd called out my name and was surprised to see her there.
"You're Jiyeon...right?" the girl asked me, hesitantly. She looked older and thinner now but I could tell it was her.
"Jihye?" I blinked.
Jihye's face broke into a smile, "It's been a while, hasn't it?"
Jihye was one of the girls I went to high school with after she'd transferred in her senior years. We're not close or friends but we knew each other and helped each other out at times. Jihye also had family issues so we bonded through that but of course, I kept my distance from her just like I did with other people.
I smiled. "It's been a while."
She looked around and then said, "Do you have time for coffee?"

"So, you just left your husband?" Jihye's eyes widened.
I sighed. We'd come to my small apartment and had coffee which lead to a long conversation. For some reason, I just ended up telling her everything except for the part where my husband is a celebrity. It's not that I trust her... I guess it was because I wanted to talk to someone about it. I had no one to talk to all this time and seeing Jihye... I just ended up blurting everything out.
"Alright, so he's in the wrong for not trusting you," Jihye shrugged. "and I get why you're feeling like this and I'm totally siding with you but I'd also want to side with the guy too."
I gave her a look before taking a sip of coffee, "Why?"
She smiled, reaching for her mug, "He sounds like a good guy." He really is.
"Do you live here?" I asked her, changing the topic.
Jihye nodded. "Yeah, I moved here for dad."
"For your dad?"
She hesitated, "He's... ill."
"Oh, I'm sorry," I mumbled but she waved me off.
"No, no, it's not serious or anything," she smiled. "It's good to work somewhere different once in a while too."
"Ah, I see," I smiled, tensing a little at the topic. "Graduation was a long time ago, huh? You must have accomplished so much."
