11 // Bird Brained Fool

"Divide and conquer, huh...?" Todoroki got the villains to talk so easily it was pathetic, but they hadn't given us much. Just what we already knew. "Forgive me for saying so but it's hard to see you guys as anything more than thugs with quirks you can't even handle."

"Bastard...!" One of the villains who's frozen in a block of ice yells. "The second he was warped here... Is he really just a kid..?" Whimpers and ows escape the villain as the cold gets to him.

"They want to kill All Might..." Todoroki mutters mainly to himself. "At first it seemed like they were elite. They'd use their numbers to overwhelm him. But..." He quickly trails off and seems to be thinking. He attention quickly snaps back to the villains.

"At this rate, your skin'll rot away from frostbite. But I'm trying to become a hero and heros don't do such horrible things. What makes you think you can kill All Might..? Tell me the plan."

Todoroki's stepped away from me and is stood directly in front of the villains and I can't quite make out what they're saying from the gasps and painful noises from the rest of the villains. But one noise in particular catches my attention.

There's a cracking noise. Shit.
"Todoroki! Look out!" I yell to get his attention. A strange, mutant lizard man has broken out of the ice and goes to attack Todoroki. He jumps out of the way as the lizard man hits the floor, sending out a wave that knocks Todoroki back.

He walks over to Todoroki and goes to hit him. My heart rate increases and I think of something I can do. The ends of my weapon are pretty hard, mainly made out of metal. Made out of solid metal at the flat bases.

I jump into action and sprint forward, unclipping and extending my weapon before swinging the end at the guys head before he gets a chance to hurt Todoroki. I pull it down on his head as hard as I physically can and there's a sickening cracking noise as he roles away.

The man tries to stand up again, but almost instantly falls over. They might be powerful but they're still human, kinda. Blunt force trauma will always do damage. Looks like I've given him some kind of brain injury.

Todoroki blankly looks at me from the ground and I nervously smile before holding my hand out for him to take. He hesitates for a second but does take my hand, even though he mainly pushes himself up.

"I've gotten the information I need out of them." He states to me bluntly.

"Great! What's their pla-" I'm cut off when a very loud, booming voice fills the arena.

"Fear not. I am here." I turn and see what I can just about make out to be All Might at the top of the stairs, but they're a fair while away.

"Come on!" Todoroki grabs my arm. "We have to be quick." I must look so damn lost. He's over here being a badass and taking out armies of villains and I took out one guy.

I nod and try to give him the most determined smile I've got. He gives me a slight, very strained smile back before we take off into a sprint.

We start running to the centre where All Might's fighting off a bunch of villains and I can see Midoriya holding Aizawa on his back. Oh God Aizawa. He looks seriously injured.

Another thing that makes me panic is watching All Might's attacks having no effect on this giant villain. It looks like some kind of fucked up bird person with it's brain exposed. What the hell is that thing?

All Might suddenly dodges the things punch and tries to grab onto it to flip it over. There's suddenly a large explosion, I guess they underestimated All Might after all.

I watch Midoriya pass Aizawa to Tsuyu and say something to her.

Once the smoke clears, I realise I couldn't have been more wrong. That.. thing is half in a portal with it's legs half out of a different portal not too far away. It's clinging on to All Might's torso and isn't letting go.
