When I woke up that morning to find Mina bouncing around saying she wanted to do something, I didn't quite expect to end up at the beach with her and my little sister. Mina said she wanted to go to the beach but most of the girls had plans or were too tired to do something that early. Neither of those were an issue for me.

I told Akamine about my plans and she said she had paper work, so that meant Aiko coming too, which is fine by me. I had to borrow shorts off of Mina, luckily she brought some that fit me to Yaoyorozu's, so we were sorted.

We walked to mine to pick up Aiko and for me to drop my bag off at Akamine's before dropping Mina's bag off at her's, which is on the way to the beach. Akamine threw sunscreen at me as I left the house and I stole a pair of her sunglasses off the kitchen side. I also grabbed my weapon for 'just in case' reasons.

"So you live with Akamine?" Mina questioned on the way there.

"Uh yeah, I bumped into her in a cafe and now we have a little deal thing." I say honestly. I end up explaining the whole story and the events of my first meeting with Akamine in the cafe. I guessed I missed out the part of me living with her in previous conversations. Mina finds it amusing and by the time I've finished, we're at the beach.

Aiko almost instantly runs off and runs straight towards the sea. I panic and sprint after her.

"Kiriko!" Mina yells after me. "She'll be fine!"

"She not drowning on my watch!" I yell back, only to hear muffled laughter. I end up sitting at the edge of the sea whilst Mina and Aiko splash around in the waves.

I can't help but smile at the pair, Mina's basically an older version of Aiko, which is probably why they get along so well. I zone out of what's going on and just watch the ocean, it's so pretty and peaceful. The light perfectly reflects off of it and the world seems to rest. It's just like the sky, it'll always be there.

When I zone back in, Mina's talking to a group of boys and Aiko's no where to be found. I instantly jump to my feet, consumed by panic. I catch movement in the corner of my eye and spot the girl sprinting down the beach as she turns a corner that's hidden by a wall. Fucks sake.

I take off after her and I get to the corner when I hear a horrific scream. I bolt around the corner, slipping on the sand and I see two people standing not too far away from Aiko.

One of them is a woman in a black bodysuit, similar to Akamine's, she has bright blonde hair that fades to pastel pink at the bottom and is flashing a creepy smile at my sister. There's also a guy who's sporting a bright blue tank top and grey sweatpants. Looks like a dick honestly.

"Why'd you scream, sweety?" The woman coos. "We didn't mean to scare ya." Her sickly sweet tone holds some very clear menace in it.

"Yeah. How about you come with us?" The man's voice is rough and harsh, like he's just drank a cup of gravel. They step closer to Aiko and I rush in. I pull the girl behind me.

"I don't think she'll be doing that." I say, I can feel Aiko shaking as she clings onto my shirt.

"Oh, I guess we'll take her then." The woman giggles and is suddenly surrounded by multiple versions of herself. A multiplication quirk, not rare but certainly deadly.

"Run back to Mina." I tell Aiko without breaking eye contact with the woman. Aiko goes to object but I don't let her. "Now."

My stern tone tells her that this is serious, very serious, and if she doesn't do as I say it'll make things worse. She hesitates for a second, but then takes off as quick as she can. I need to get her to safety on an area that has more people, then I need to get there too.
