I bolted down the stairs to meet Todoroki after his fight before I even gave Endeavor a chance. Or that's what I wanted to do. This stadium's so fucking big I don't have a clue where I'm going. This is the second time I've gotten lost today.

I get to the enterence of the stadium just as Todoroki's walking out and Endeavour's there to meet him. I practically freeze in place. I don't want to get myself in more trouble and potentially worsen their relationship.

"So you're not gonna tell me to get out of your way this time?" Endeavor says in an incredibly cocky tone. "Without control over your flames, going all out is dangerous but you've finally put aside you childish rebellion. You're ready to replace me. To surpass me, even!"

He's obsessed with being the best. Not like Bakugou because he only want to be the best if he works for it. Endeavor is willing to do whatever it takes, including forcing it onto his son. Endeavor asks his son to work along side him only to get a response I'm proud to hear.

"I haven't put aside anything." Todoroki says, his voice scarily calm. "As if I could be turned that easily. It's just in that moment, in that instant, I forgot all about you." I can see his looking at his left hand in some kind of awe. "Whether that's good or bad or something in between, that's something I'll have to think about."

He walks past his dad and sees me standing their. He stops in his tracks and I don't know what to do, but the words leave my mouth before I can really think.

"Well done. I told you you'd do great." I smile at him and he stands there, seemingly struggling to comprehend what I've done. He lets out what sounds like a context sigh and glances at the floor before looking back up at me.

"You're really something else, Hara." He slightly smiles at me, and it seems a lot less strained then it normally does. I find myself becoming the stunned one as he walks past me, leaving me stood in the corridor with his dad.

Endeavor's eyes follow his son as he walks away but I don't turn around. His eyes make their way to me and glares down at me. He opens his mouth to say something to me but I don't let him. I might not like him because of what I've heard today, but being on bad terms with a pro isn't exactly on my bucket list.

"I'm sorry that we've gotten off on the wrong foot, sir." I say, clearly taking him back with my formal approach. "Whilst I know that these terms aren't great, I stand by what I've said in regards to your son. I had no intention of being disrespectful, but I have my morals."

I try to make myself sound as well spoken and respectful as possible, without actually taking anything back.

"I hope we can put this behind us." I hold my hand out in front of me for him to shake it. He hesitates but then lightly takes it and gives me one stiff shake. "Your son is incredibly strong, and don't get me wrong, so are you, but he isn't you. So don't expect him to be."

I pull my hand away from his and push my lips together, giving him a look that says 'what I'm saying is true whether you accept it or not' and I glance at the floor. I slip my hands into the back pockets of my jeans and walk away. I look both ways down the corridor and I catch Todoroki turning the corner.

He sure took a while to walk down one patch of corridor. It shouldn't take that long to get that far. Wait. I feel a wave of embarrassment wash over me as I realise that he was probably listening to my conversation with his dad. Fucks sake. I hope he doesn't mind. This is the karma I get for eavesdropping earlier.

Shit Midoriya. Once again I take off down the corridor and for once I get lucky and find the room in next to no time.

Mineta, Tsuyu, Uraraka and Iida are all surrounding him along with a blond, skeletal looking man. They're all freaking out about him having to have surgery and I just awkwardly stand in the doorway.
