Cruit has been talking to thousands of people in only a few days. His form has never experienced this much exaustion in his lifetime. This is impressive considering he has lived for 5,342 years.
Thankfully within his range of power, he can split his essence into many denominations, but they all share the same conscious. Cruit was only a minor season, working for Spring, Season of New.
This was a big plan for Spring for many years. It was only a secret between them. He was on board with the idea, opening an academy for mortals to become seasons. Seasons have the power to do so, but have never used it. Most seasons did not know of this capability.
When the plan became reality, he did plenty of work. He chose a select few of billions of humans around the world, who could be possible candidates. And those select few, became a smaller faction for those who are willing to take the proposal. He chose the best of the best. Out of every mortal in Earth, only 2,000 will be chosen, and the top twelve will get to ascend into a season.
He thought of the last candidate he talked to: Valerie Medina. She wasn't the brightest, or the most well known. She was human, yet she sparked the attention of Cruit. She was shy, but stuck around like glue. She was a helper and skilled at cooperation.
Every candidate was a prodigy in a certain activity. They impressed him on their abilities, yet Valerie was the person he still remembered. It seemed they only cared on their talents, and not towards others. That shined out of the others.
He noticed, Valerie was the last candidate chosen. His work is now done. He gathered up most of his form and rested in his room of the Season Consul Building. He didn't care that much recruitment was happening around him. He just wanted rest, and that was his first priority after the selection.
