Valerie was mind blown on the dinner they made. She has never seen food appear from thin air, it would be quite practical if Valerie had that skill. Food wasn't her most skilled domain, so she scratched that out of what she could be.

She sat next to Wallace which put a smile on her face. She finally didn't feel alone here anymore. They conversed more on their lives, interests, and bonded within only an hour.

Apparently Wallace was German and was raised in schools with uniforms. When she found out that this school didn't have any, she let her inner fashion sense out.

The food was delicious. Just gazing at it made her mouth water. The lights were glistening at the juicy ham, the mashed potatoes were buttery soft, and even the water cuddled around her tongue; matching perfectly around her taste buds. It was the best meal she has ever had in her life.

"The food is delicious, isn't it?" Valerie asked.

"Indeed, but I an still homesick of food from home."

Valerie didn't want to stereotype Germans, but she could only think of sausages and beer. That point made her realized that she missed food from home. Valerie was Mexican, and a flash of all the foods she grew up eating sparked in her eyes.

The food was marvelous, but Wallace made a solid point.

"You're right. I'm Mexican American, and food from home was amazing." There was a pause, with Valerie not knowing what to talk about.

"You're English is pretty good! How long have you been learning English?" Valerie didn't mean to change the subject, but it was a habit of hers.

"Oh, Before coming here, I barely spoke English. When I came here, I'm suddenly fluent in English. I don't know how that works, but I'm guessing it's the atmosphere around here making us all speak in one language." Wallace explained.

That must of been a weird feeling. Walking somewhere, and you suddenly know an entirely new language. The language system the seasons put up here makes sense. There were students all around the world.

"Do you think when you leave the school, you'll still have your English?" Valerie asked.

"I honestly don't know. My family would freak out if I suddenly came home speaking English."

"Yeah, that would be funny."

Once the meal was over, Bian came up again.

"Attention Sitrans, dinner is now over. Please return to your according rooms and sleep well for your first trial period day."

Valerie and Wallace felt well fulfilled on their meals and walked together as one. They arrived at the room together and jumped on the bunk bed. Valerie was on the top and realized how beautiful the dorm rooms are.

The walls were a pastel auburn, reminding her of Autumn. There was a table and two chairs with a red velvet cushions. It felt that the walls begged her to put posters or decorate it to add more character to it. She felt like she knew what to pack, but posters weren't a consideration.

Wallace switched the lights off, causing darkness to appear. Wallace laid below her.

"Goodnight Valerie."

"Goodnight Wallace."

And they drifted to sleep.
