Sacreus was at the library, using up one of their offered computers. The library was his safe haven. He enjoyed reading and accessing the World Wide Web.

The library distracted himself on what happened in the past. He used to be Sacreus, the Minor Season of Sacrifice. The seasons followed a set list of laws on the limits on what you could do as a season. One of them was that you could not fall in love.

The seasons control the Earth, which is a colossal responsibility. Falling in love can distract themselves on their work. He couldn't control his emotions, but he fell in love with a mortal woman.

Once the seasons found out, they banished him, and has a permanent form of a teenager. He is aware that he is immortal to give him a more sufferable life on Earth.

He looked through his news feed and found the Cruit Phenomenon. Cruit, a close friend of his. He remembered the good days before he fell in love. He was inseparable with Cruit. They were almost like brothers. His relationship changed ever since his emotions happened.

Sacreus read the detailed article, and was so shocked. He accidentally gasped out loud. Many mortals we're claiming they could ascend into a season? That could not be true. How come he got the opposite treatment of the mortals? He felt hypocrisy of the seasons.

He needed to take action on what was going to happen. He needed to sacrifice himself. He looked at the list of many who claimed they saw Cruit. Sacreus decided a plan. Find an enrolled student, and sneak into this so called "Tempus Academy." That was not going to be easy.

He looked at the list of those who claimed they saw Cruit. He randomly clicked a name that was towards the end of the list. He clicked on Valture64. He looked at her Instagram page. The name was Valerie Medina.

The page was pictures of her artworks, and there was only one picture with her face. She had light brown skin, with chocolate hazel hair with curly locks. By her honey brown eyes, she seemed determined and strong-willed.

She had nice drawings, but they weren't anything season worthy. Sacreus wondered how she got the attention of Cruit himself. He sighed, feeling like he didn't even know Cruit at all anymore.

He ended his session on the computer and head to his home. He walked a few blocks, towards a box-sized apartment room. Sacreus had his head down on his way home, knowing that his three years are almost over.

To avoid suspicion on why others don't notice that he doesn't age, he changes area of living every three years. He also had to make a new alias. His current identity was Zach Kries. With many identities over the years, he struggled on what he considered himself.

I am Sacreus, Season of Sacrifice. He confidently said in his mind. He needed to become a season again. That was his grand plan.
