I walk into work, in my new outfit, a pair of black jeans and red, short sleeve blouse with a deep, split neckline. Though I try my best to keep it buttoned up as much as I can, though I feel sexier than I usually do. It's not as sexy as that lace dress I wore yesterday but the neckline is flattering and the jeans make me look good too.

"See I told you that you would look good," Alex announces as she sees me and I blush. "I mean, yesterdays look would have killed a priest. Definitely not as work friendly as I remembered but a great dress for going out."

"Yeah, I won't be doing that anytime soon." I sigh.

"What? Why? I saw you on Saturday, you left with a guy."

"And that is exactly why I won't be doing it again. One night stands aren't my thing." I explain.

"But you came out of your shell, you looked amazing on that dance floor just having fun. Don't bottle up your fun side because you aren't used to it, embrace it."

"I just don't know." I shake my head.

"Listen, you are a fun, smart and sexier girl. Saturday nights aren't meant to for you to stay in wearing a pleated skirt and reading Huckleberry Finn for the 10th time." she laughs. "They're meant for fun and letting loose, forgetting about your long week and just relaxing."

"I just don't like the idea of going home with a guy every night." I shrug.

"Okay, next time I'll make sure you don't go anywhere with anyone but me, okay?"

"Fine." I sigh, she is too good at winning people over. With a sigh of defeat, I go downstairs and take my usual seat.

"Jeans and a guy seems you had a fun weekend," Edward says as he comes into my line of sight, not him again.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"I come in peace." he holds up his hand in defense. I roll my eyes and look down at a book that was turned in. "Who's the guy?" he asks and I shake my head.

'None of your business, why were you even eavesdropping?" I glare at him.

"You guys aren't exactly quiet." he laughs.

"Do you need something, Mr. Styles?" I ask.

"Yes actually. I just wanted to ask about the book reading you did on Saturday."

"Okay and?" I raise my eyebrow at him. He opens his mouth to speak but then closes it again.

"Never mind." he huffs and goes upstairs. Every time I see that guy he gets weirder. I try my best to ignore my thoughts about what we wanted to ask and proceed to do my job.

The rest of the day is as slow as usual and I leave at 2 pm before Alex can get me into any other big messes.
When I get home I take my outfit off, make myself a snack and sit down to relax. Today went better than yesterday and I'm grateful that Edward ran away as he did, maybe he'll take the hint and leave me alone though I am curious what he wanted to ask and why didn't ask it. I have an hour before I have to be class so I decide to take a quick shower and head over there.

Tuesday through Friday go by as usual except the fact that Edward doesn't come around. Which I'm eternally happy for because that boy pisses me off more than anyone should. Though I know deep down I find hit wit charming, he comes across mean but I can tell there's a nice side to him, everyone has a good part of them somewhere no matter how much they try and hide it. I never thought I would find tattoos appealing either but there's something about the way the dark ink that covers is light skin makes me curious. His British accent is also very wonderful to listen to.
