Michael was sitting on a bench outside the gas station, Willow in his arms, watching Luke pace back and forth in front of him. He was muttering to himself and rubbing at his temples.
"Luke?"
"What?" Luke snapped.
Michael flinched at his tone and adjusted Willow in his arms. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah I just- yeah." Luke sighed, sitting down beside Michael on the bench. "Sorry for snapping. I'm just worried about telling my mom about everything."
Michael nodded and looked up at the area around him. "I've never been away from the facility before. It's amazing."
"This crappy old town? Nah, there's nothing amazing about it." Luke huffed.
"You're just used to it." Michael said, looking back down at the baby in his arms. She was beginning to stir and both boys knew it was probably because she was busy in her diaper.
"How am I going to tell my mom that this is my baby, that I carried her inside of me for nearly five months, that she's also your baby, and that she exists because a weird doctor found out I was born with a female reproductive system? She's gonna have a heart attack or something." Luke mumbled, letting his eyes drift to the road in search of his moms car.
After a few more minutes of waiting Luke spotted his mums red car rolling into the parking lot and stood to his feet. She hadn't seen him yet but when she looked up over her dash from unbuckling her seatbelt her hand flew up to cover her mouth. She scrambled to open the door as Luke began walking towards the car. As soon as the door was open and Luke was close enough she pulled him into a tight hug.
Luke was trying to ignore the sting in his abdomen from his stitches as he hugged his mother tight. "Mom, there's some people you need to meet."
She pulled away and wiped at we damp eyes, smiling up at her son. "Where have you been?"
"I'll tell you, just come over here." He said, grabbing her hand and leading her over to the bench where Michael was sat cooing at the little baby in his arms.
"This is Michael and that's Willow." Luke cleared his throat, pointing to the infant. "My baby."
Liz frowned and looked from her son to the boy wearing a hood sitting in front of her and back to Luke. "You left because you got a girl pregnant and now you're back with the baby?"
"Uh, no." Luke rubbed the back of his neck. "This is where it gets complicated. Let's just go home and I'll explain everything to you."
"Luke, who is this boy?"
"Michael. It's his baby too." Luke mumbled, walking over and taking Willow from the boys arms. Michael got up and walked over to Liz, sticking his hand out for her to shake and giving her a small 'hi.'
"H-How is that?" She asked, turning to look at the baby. "Luke, I'm very confused."
"Mom, let's just go home and I'll explain everything. Please." He pleaded, swaying his arms slightly.
Liz just nodded and turned back to her car, Luke and Michael following behind her. "Luke, be careful with that baby." She scolded as Luke let go of Willow with one arm to reach over and buckle his seatbelt. His eyes widened and he quickly slid his other arm back underneath the baby.

It was a very dramatic ordeal explaining to Liz all that had went on in the past months that Luke had been missing. First off she had to call authorities and tell them that he had returned home so they would stop splashing his face on the papers and evening news. After that was settled Luke sat her down in the living room while Michael and Willow rested in his bedroom. Liz had pulled out the play pen they used when Luke's brother brought his daughter over and told Luke to lay Willow inside of it.
"Okay, Luke, explain. You've been gone for months and now you're suddenly back with a baby and a teenage boy?"
"Okay," Luke started, letting out a puff of air. "I was kidnapped, I didn't run away or go to be with some girl that I got pregnant. I haven't gotten anyone pregnant, it's actually the other way around."
He watched the look of confusion wash over his mothers face and sighed before continuing.
"I was taken by a doctor who does studies on hybrids. Well, he apparently has found some rare breed of hybrid and wanted to -I don't know- breed another one. Well, he used me as a lab rat and-and turns out I was born with a female reproductive system, so he implanted the sperm of the hybrid he found inside me and I...I had Willow a few days ago." Luke gulped, fiddling with his thumbs, not daring to look up at his mother.
"Is this a joke?" She chuckled humorlessly, "Luke, you're a boy. Boys don't have babies."
"Believe me, I know." Luke muttered. "I argued that myself."
"Tell me what actually happened and who's baby that is in there with that boy."
"I am telling you what actually happened. I was sliced open the other day and they pulled that baby out of me. I've been locked in a hybrid facility with Michael, taking various different pills every morning, for the past six months. One of the those months I wasn't even conscious. Mom, you have to believe me." Luke was on the verge of tears, he felt like he was having a break down of some sort. all of this just crashing down on him so suddenly, like it just hit him that all of it actually happened and it hasn't been some crazy dream.
When she just continued to stare at him with an unreadable expression he pushed his chair back and stood up, raising the hem of his shirt to reveal the stretch marks and scar left over from his pregnancy and c-section.
"Mom." He whimpered, lip trembling.
A soft oh left her mouth and she stood to her feet, pulling Luke into a gentle hug. She rubbed at his back and try to wrap her head around the situation.
"Baby, I'm sorry this happened to you." She mumbled, pulling away and pressing a tender kiss to Luke's forehead.
"They were gonna clear my memory and let me go. They were gonna keep my baby and do god knows what to her." He shook with his words and wiped away the tears trailing down his face.
There was suddenly a pair of arms around Luke's torso and a head resting against his left shoulder blade.
"It-it's okay Luke. We're out n-now." Michael mumbled against the fabric of Luke's shirt. "Our baby's okay. Everything's o-okay."
