Michael's eyebrows knit together and Ashton shot forward in his chair. Luke stared blankly at the monitor, almost like he hadn't heard what he said at all.

"W-What?" Michael asked, leaning over Luke to get a better look at the screen. "Are you sure you counted right?"

Ashton got up and walked over to look at the screen himself. He didn't know what the fuck he was looking at, but he was looking.

"This is his job, Michael, he says there's three, so there must be three." Luke said calmly, readjusting his hold on the coyote boys hand so he could run his thumb across his pale knuckles and giving him a soft smile.

Frank smiled at the couple and turned back to the monitor to further examine the fetuses. Ashton stared at Luke in shock then glanced at Michael to see him looking at Luke the same way.

"How are you so calm?" Ashton asked, a little harsher than he meant to.

Luke shrugged and stared down at his still fairly flat stomach, a small smile plastered on his lips. "They're okay so I'm happy."

"Okay," Frank spoke up, gathering everyone's attention. "Here's baby one." He adjusted the wand on Luke's skin, and after he felt everyone had stared at it enough he moved it over slightly and adjusted it again. "Baby two." He repeated the same process. "And baby three. Would you like prints?"

Luke nodded eagerly. Frank retracted the wand from his stomach before flipping off the machine, handing Luke something to wipe the gel off with, and picking up his clipboard.

"While the sonograms are printing lets talk," He said, setting back onto his stool. "Obviously, a cesarean section is the only option."

Luke nodded and pointed to the scar he had from when Willow was born.

"Now, I assume you most likely had problems during your first pregnancy since your body isn't really designed for carry children, right?"

"Not really." Luke shrugged, glancing up to Michael. "My back and hips hurt sometimes but that's normal, isn't it?"

Frank nodded and write something down on his clipboard. "You're going to be carrying three times the amount of weight you did before. Your symptoms are probably going to be worse. If the weight starts straining you I'm gonna recommend going on bed rest later on in the pregnancy."

Luke nodded and felt Michael squeeze his hand. Michael was worried.

"Anything I need to know before I let you go?" Frank asked, filling out a list of prenatal vitamins Luke should pick up.

"The thing that happened a few days ago...why did it happen? When Luke fainted and all? Will it happen again?" Michael asked, absentmindedly twisting his fingers around with the blond's.

"Oh," Frank frowned. "That was probably just his body reacting negatively to the babies. Probably hadn't eaten much that morning and been doing too much work. you said it was your daughters birthday, right? Just make sure to eat and take your vitamins. If it happens again come straight here."

"Surprise?" Luke mumbled meekly. He'd just dropped the big news and everyone seemed to be in shock.

The whole family was stood around the back patio as Andrew barbecued. Michael stood beside Luke nervously, the entire situation was painfully awkward for him.

"Three?" Ben was the first to speak. "Wow."

"Triplets!" Liz cried, rushing over to hug Luke.

Jack walked over to Michael with wide eyes. He grabbed the coyote boy by the back of his neck at yanked him forward so they were face to face. Slowly, he raised three fingers between their faces and whispered the number. "Three?" Michael nodded with a hard swallow and pulled the sonograms from his pocket.

He released Michael with a heavy sigh and shrug before turning back to the family. "That's it. I have to move out."

"You should've moved out years ago." Andrew mumbled from the grill.

"Dad, aren't you shocked?" Ben asked.

Andrew shrugged. "My son was kidnapped and got pregnant by a hybrid. Nothing shocks me anymore."
