"Are you ready?" Louis asked from the door.

I placed the brush on top of my vanity and looked back at Louis from the mirror, "Just a moment."

He was holding a fresh bouquet of yellow acacias and he proceeded to replace the old ones he gave me for my birthday with these. He did so while I put on the white sneakers Liam gave me.

"Thank you for the flowers. Although it's not my birthday anymore."

"Think of them as a welcome back home gift," Louis said as he leaned on my vanity. "Well you look ready to bite some wolves' heads off."

I was wearing an ivory off-shoulder dress. It was one of the many white dresses Gummy gave me. It perfectly showed off the gunshot wound I acquired from my birthday. It was also long enough that it perfectly hid the sneakers that I very much needed to walk comfortably in while we were in the forest. I let my long dark hair flow down behind me.

The pearl necklace Harry gave me was also dangling from my neck. While I had removed the silver earring from Zayn.

"I figured it's better to look the part for tonight." I stood up and took one last glance at myself in the mirror, "Let's go."

Liam was already waiting for us in the car, which I was told was a Jeep Renegade. It was one of Louis' many cars and he said it was the best one to use for forest roads.

It was quiet throughout most of the drive. All three of us could still feel the lingering pain in the air over Cat and Liam's breakup.

I was staring up the moon and was mulling over what I was going to do when Liam spoke up, "All alphas are already in front of the warehouse jail waiting for you, Elle. They brought packmates with them for safety purposes and so there's quite a large number of werewolves."

"I also called a few rogue buddies from the area to help Liam and I guard you," Louis added.

I sighed, "Let's make sure this doesn't turn ugly."

"Do you have a plan?" Louis asked.

"Yes," I added. Something Mick told me gave me the idea. I hoped it would work.

"We're here," Liam announced.

We were in front of a slightly dilapidated and rusty warehouse that was the size of an average bungalow. There were no windows, only a large metal door in front. Moonflowers were scattered all around the structure.

All five betas of Eastearth were in front if it like they were guarding it.

Harry, Mikhail, Dylan were on the sides, with their packmates behind them. Zayn was the only one who was standing alone.

There was also a group of rogues. They were easy to distinguish as they were less formal than the others who were standing rigidly.

My hands were sweaty and my heart was beating a mile per minute. But I could not let it show that I was nervous. It was time I take this role seriously.

It was time I embraced this.

I glanced back up to the moon and murmured, "You better back me up on this."

For a moment, I thought the moon disappeared from the sky. But it was there when I blinked my eyes.

I looked at Liam and Louis. I saw that they were both looking back at me, with Louis' eyebrow raised in question.

"Showtime," I smiled.

Louis smiled back and gave me a small salute before they both stepped out the door. Liam opened the door for me while Louis held his hand out to help me step out.
