Everyone was gathered in the living room.

I was seated on the couch, Gummy next to me. Louis was seated on the seat on my right while Liam was on the left one.

All four alphas were standing in front of me. All four were facing me. All seven of them looked at me, waiting for me to start.

My conversation with Harry was cut short by the arrival of Dylan. And shortly after that, Mikhail and Kevin also arrived. Gummy had ushered everyone in the living room.

And although I was pretty glad that our conversation didn't go any further than it had, I was now feeling a whole new level of intimidation. Not that I was intimidated by their presence here. It was more of the reason why they were standing in front of me.

And what I needed to tell them.

Harry was standing directly in front of me, and was just looking at me. He had an expressionless mask on. But I could still see the flashes of pain and sadness in his eyes, stabbing me every second his eyes were on me.

So instead I turned to look at Kevin who was standing on Harry's right, then Dylan on Harry's left, followed by Mikhail standing on Dylan's left.

Mikhail had his arms crossed, a scowl permanently etched on his face. Kevin looked friendly, like he always did. His eyes were kind of darting around the room before coming back to me. He had a nostalgic look on his face and I guess it's because it's been so long since he visited.

Dylan looked nonchalant, only offering me a small smile when our eyes met.

My eyes swept around the room, landing on my grandmother beside me.

"My grandmother made a prophecy just before I was born," I started, my voice low but I was sure they could hear me.

"Tied to a maiden, marked by the moon. Her choice shall crown one king of the wolves," Gummy recited.

"I'm sure every one of you are aware or even has a hunch about what's it about," I pointedly looked at Mikhail.

Mikhail smugly smiled at me, "So you are confirming you are the maiden in the prophecy?"

I returned his gaze with a hardened one until his smug smile almost disappeared.

I slowly stood up, and I looked at them now that I stood tall like they did, "Yes."

There was a second of silence before Mikhail burst in laughter. The friendliness in Kevin's face was gone, and I could see his lips pressed into a line. He almost looked disapproving.

Harry's face remained stoic. This was old news to him after all. Dylan, on the other hand, looked curious.

He looked at me like I was an artwork on display in a museum wall, "What does that mean?"

Mikhail finally stopped laughing but he still looked amused, "Are we supposed to talk this out, talk you into choosing who's the best alpha? Or are we supposed to go into war so you can see who's the strongest?"

"I don't know," I replied honestly.

"Or maybe we're supposed to woo the lone maiden? Seduce you?" Mikhail smirked. "Maybe Harry can give us a few tips how to do that since it looks like he's got a headstart!"

Harry was in front of Mikhail in a second. He grabbed Mikhail's neck and squeezed, "Shut your fucking mouth."

Before anyone else could react, Kevin appeared next to them and placed his hand on Harry's arm, "Not in front of Elle, Harry."

That seemed to do the trick as Harry pushed Mikhail as Harry let go of his neck, "Disrespect Selene again and I'll fucking annihilate your pack this instant."

Mikhail scowled and glared at Harry as he massaged his neck, "We all know you've been cozying up with her when you know it's not allowed! Just like how Kevin tried with her Mom!"

My eyebrows furrowed in surprise. What was he talking about?

"Alphas aren't allowed to form a relationship with the lead seer or her successors," Dylan said. He had his curious eyes on me still, never leaving my face despite the commotion next to him.

Dylan continued, "The lead seer can't be bias to one pack. If she falls in love with a wolf, then the wolf must renounce his allegiance and loyaty to his pack before they get married - cut off all ties even familial ones. But an alpha can't do that. We are forever tied to our packs. So our ancestors made an agreement that we honor to this day."

My eyebrows furrowed further. If that was the case, then why did Gummy allow Harry to even stay here - to even sleep next to me?

And what was this about Kevin and my Mom? I was sure he wasn't the same wolf I saw on that vision she showed me. Did Kevin like my Mom?

"Because this time it's different," I heard Gummy say. I slightly tilted my head back to look at her.

"I knew Selene was special. I knew the Moon Goddess has special things planned for her. And I couldn't get in her way. I am nothing but a steward of her will," Gummy said, sounding very tired. "My dear daughter tried to stop it from happening but look what happened."

There was a moment of silence as we all drank in what Gummy said.

"So what are we supposed to do?" Dylan asked.

"Prepare," was Gummy's reply.

"For what?" Kevin asked. "For war?"

I shook my head, "I don't know. All I know is that Seralune was the beginning and I am the end."

"What do you mean you're the end?" Dylan quipped. "That you're the last of the seers?"

"Maybe," I answered.

"You're not a very helpful seer are you, little maiden?" Mikhail rolled his eyes.

Harry, Louis and Liam all glared at Mikhail. I chose to just ignore him.

"But you have to prepare for tomorrow. Something's going to happen tomorrow. I don't exactly know what but..."

I looked at all four alphas and felt a chill ran down my spine. The anxiety and anticipation for what was to come were almost unbearable.

"My eighteenth birthday is conciding with a super blood wolf moon," I explained.

Just like when I was born.

Just like when Gummy made the prophecy.

I knew the time the Moon Goddess had been waiting for was finally coming.

And I knew, under the light of the super blood wolf moon, the Goddess' prophecy will rise.
