I lost sight of Harry.

The chaos around me continued but my wind had formed a protective barrier around me. No wolf could get within a feet from me. Anyone who attempted was thrown away by a strong gust of wind.

My eyes swept through the huge expanse. It was when I spotted Zayn's wolf disappear into the forest.

I felt the hair on my neck rise. My heart sank to my stomach.

I ran after him.

There were a few wolves in the forest as well, but they were considerably lesser as the fight was concentrated on the grounds in front of the Southfire pack house.

It was hard to keep track of a wolf running at full speed in the dark forest. It didn't help that I was barefoot too.

But with adrenaline in my veins and the wind as my guide, I soon found Zayn again.

The almost deafening water crashing into the dark depths below was almost enough to mask the loud snarls from Zayn. His fur was raised and he was poised like he was ready to attack at any given moment.

Pluto was at the edge of the waterfall. He was standing so still, like he wasn't concerned about Zayn at all.

He ever so slightly tilted his face to look at me, "I was waiting for you, Daughter."

Zayn growled at him.

"Don't call me that." The cool spray of water on my arms and face welcomed me as I came closer to them. I only stopped when I was standing next to Zayn.

Zayn remained in attack position. But a side glance from him told me he was surprised about Pluto calling me his daughter.

Pluto ignored me. Instead, he looked behind. A soft rustle told me someone else had arrived.

"Isn't it nice that everyone's here," Pluto sneered.

Harry was still in human form. He had blood spatters all over him and his clothes had multiple rips.

He stood on my right. "Are you all right, Selene?"

"It's not like you really care how she is, don't you, Harry?" Pluto interjected.

Harry's wolf eyes flashed for a second. He tightly balled his fists as he closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. It was like Harry was trying to calm himself down.

"You have poor taste in men. Just like your mother."

The trees around us shook violently. "Don't. You. Dare. Don't you fucking dare talk about Mom."

"I did fuck Thana so I think I have the right to."

That did it.

With both arms raised, I projected the wind to lash onto him. I especially made it so that it would hurt him.

The strong wind sent my hair flying in all directions but I never removed my eyes from Pluto.

I could see the cuts my wind made on his skin but Pluto hardly even flinched. If anything, his smile grew wider.

And I saw nothing but red.

I screamed and the wind pushed him back an inch. It was like there was an almost impenetrable force that was enveloping him. Even my wind was having a hard time knocking it down.

I was pushing myself to my limit. I could feel blood dripping from my nose as I made the wind search for a weakness. I was ready to just push him down the waterfall but I felt arms wrap themselves around me.

"Selene, don't-"

But I didn't let him finish. Instead, I pushed him away. I sent him and Zayn flying away, my blinding rage fueling me.
