Chunhua tapped her pen on her chin several times, crossing out the words she just found. Yangyang has been clinging to stay at the library to read a few books and of course- to see her- until she made her way to him, took a seat next to him and fish out her crossword puzzle book. Actually sneaking from doing her work to walk around the library.

She looked over to him, realizing every minutes that passed spent with him. It seemed longer than she thought. "Don't you have classes today?"

"No." He simply replied, eyes not leaving the paper, focused than ever. "Don't you have work shifts today?" He asked back.

She ignored him by slightly glancing at him from the side, dragging the book towards her as they were sharing the same book with different pages- him on the left and her on the right, earning a small yell from him with his furrowed eyebrows, striking a glare at her. "Hey!"

Yangyang who just found his third word, scooted closer to her and crossed it out proudly. To be honest, there were a lot to compare.

Chunhua smiled out of satisfaction seeing hers more full than his, and more colorful than his, looking at him as she question herself why he's so slow in this game. "You're quite sucks at this." She stated.

"Let's set a time after this. Who's fastest to finish is the winner." She said, taking out her phone and clicked on the timer.

Like a whiny person, he complained. "Not fair, you got the easy topics and mine lamest."

"Youre the one who's lame, being a nerd and genius throughout schools. I did this everytime we have language subjects or math cause thats the most entertaining thing to do in class than focusing on it."

She still questioned herself why he's bad at it- she meant, she's better than him.

Minutes passed, Chunhua would check and go back to the main counter and do her work, walk up and down to pass him by- just foolishly saying hi and waving at him cause she's still in her work time.

On her break time, she came over and sat next to him, tired, wanting to get out I f the place as soon as possible. "I'm quite bored."

Yangyang looked over at her as he place his book down, relating to the same thing somehow. "You wanna go somewhere after you finish your shift?"

"I dont know." she shrugged as she faced him.

"Maybe a walk around the park?" He suggested, earning an 'ok' look from her.

She waited for him to finish- which takes quite a long time, staring at him from afar after she wore her thick coat, her arms crossed. Yangyang soon put down his pen, not bothering to pack his stuff or clean the table since they'll be coming back. He then made his way towards her and put on his coat, planning to walk out together.

As they step out of the building, Chunhua instantly felt the chilly air hitting her face. It seemed darker than usual, a bit windy and colder.

They walked side by side, just talking about random stuffs and throwbacks in Neo High. She wished she never remember those events again and wanted to prevent it from happening. Especially when they were in the middle of everything, life, school, studies, outside of school events, problems. She never wanted to recall. But she seemed to have her prince charming right here in Germany. After years, reality happens.

Out of nowhere, the whole place were poured with lashing rain that suddenly turn into a heavy, cold rain where the sky weren't as dark. Chunhua immediately made her way towards a tree they passed by before, just enough for them to hid under.

She thought of a place to come over, knowing that the tree was the only shelter they can find nearby. "Guess our activity for today didn't work out well as we expected." She said, peeking up at the grey sky. He can only shrug. Not his fault, mother nature just had to pay a visit.

They can barely hear each other's breath, he was taking small steps towards her, shoes avoiding to step on one another with the small gap they had in between.

"My place is just a few blocks away." she stated, staring at the face that was only a few inches apart from hers.

He looked directly at her, "We had to go there then."

They knew they had no other choice than finding a better place to protect themselves from catching a cold. She shook her head because of her wet hair, feeling the raindrops of water trickling down her skin.

She watched his every single move where he instantly take a step back and remove his coat, stretched it above their heads and make it as a cover.

By the count of three, they looked at each other first then ran in the rain together. As it was in public, there were eyes staring at them all the way from the left to the right, from each end to another end.

They reached the library, immediately grabbing their stuff in their wet shoes. The librarian were surprised to see them back just to pick up their stuff in the heavy rain before leaving with a friendly goodbye.

Just arriving at the familiar place of living, it was a bit calmful at last. By the time they arrived, it was dark already. He shook some water off his coat as soon as they got into the building. Yangyang followed her at the back, touching strands of his drenched hair as he step in with the coat on his arm.

Chunhua noticed some parts of the room was empty, missing stuff. Her eyes met the concerned eyes of her roommate who had bags and a luggage in her hands. "Kate?"

Almost clumsily, Kate grabbed her bag strap and slung it over her shoulder. "You guys move on with what you were doing, Imma just take my leave for the mean time, it's nothing big I swear!"

Clueless, her eyes roamed all over the room. Carrie didn't expect any other person who would come pver at the time, not really as a guest but it still mattered to her.

"Uhh.." she looked back at Yangyang who was by the entrance door and dragged Chunhua aside with her into the kitchen. Her expression was less worried but was nervous at the same time. Her eyes focused to stare right into her. "I've been wanting to tell you this.."

They chose the a spot away from him. Kate spoke up, "I'm dating Darren."

To be honest, her jaw almost dropped. Kate who doesn't seem to blend in with guys are now revealing that now she had a long-awaited confession or news to tell her. Never to be mentioned, the guy before was still a someone.

"You mean the guy who lives next door?" She questioned.

In fact, he was a close friend of Yangyang. The one's house that he always come over at. It wasnt quite a shock to her but instead of a 'Youre dating?!' respond, she asked who the person was. On the good side, he was quite a gentleman who lived on his own.

She thought of how Kate spent her time with him, when, how all this happened when she obviously always have known Kate's friends, backgrounds and her every scheduled doing. "Well, love sometimes are just sudden news. It didn't matter how or why, what or when, it just did." Kate nervously said.

"I'm so sorry, it was just so sudden and without any of your knowing. I swear I'll come back and pay you a visit, help you with the place's bills. I just- hope you understand- We've been keeping this for so long, even before you moved in. And you,"

"Just found the right person in the right time" she pointed at Chunhua, eyed the boy outside the room with a smile as she trailed off.
