Chunhua let him be, stopping outside of the building and asked him to leave after that. "I have somewhere to go after this." She fake a smile.

She've made a decision to come meet Kate at the party, joining to meet her other group of friends there. She was greeted by a lot of friendly people. She can see why her friend, Mia invited a lot of students, didn't matter what age as long as its not minors because the more, the merrier. Mia was incredibly rich, she's kind, lovely and approachable. Befriending Mia wasn't a choice but she decided it without any hesitations because she was the one who helped her a lot through her days as a new kid.

The party considered a quite mature party, consisting a lot of drinking and crazy games such as truth or dare, paper kiss, 7 minutes in heaven and more. They even have a swim at her swimming pool, trashing the whole place with more drunk schoolmates around.

Yangyang held his cup high, laughing with his friends. The music blasted louder, there were distractions as girls walking around looking like they're in a club. His eyes landed on a familiar figure downstairs. A girl that looked lost, trying to blend in with other kids. She was looking around and didnt talked much though there were boys approaching her and asking her things.

Minutes later, Yangyang came up to approach her.

🍻

Knowing that she left home right away to go to a party maybe made him angry. It wasn't a good thing especially when she's new, she's not aware of anything, even her surrounding. She can't really read what his face showed, worried? angry? disappointed? All of his emotions were mixed at the same time.

She can only walk in silence beside him. She felt forced- as if she was dragged and told to go home. From what she know, her whole expression died when she saw him.

"I don't like it when girls walk home alone in a foreign country." A cold tone escaped his mouth. He was looking straight and the steps he took was showing that it wasn't the right time to kid around. His walk was almost to stomping.

From the tone that he had, it made her immediately turn towards him with a frustrated look- somehow enraged. Chunhua normally dart a death glare fiercely on the person who would say these kind of things. She disliked how he gave her that tone- anger. It offended her at some point, maybe he was telling the truth, a warning or maybe it was just a thing to hurt her feelings. Her expression was like an annoyed and mad kid who got scolded by its parents.

"You should know how to be aware and take care of yourself." Yangyang was just saying, his walk still continued whilst she kick the grass as she walks.

"So what if i get into trouble? I am me, you dont have to do things to help me, i know how to take care of myself." Chunhua rolled her eyes in annoyance, gritting her teeth. It somehow made him strike a glare at her.

Even though her vision and memories weren't as clear, she can sense that it was time she's about to burst in tears emotionally. It hurt her pride, her feelings. "What do you want anymore? Don't try to care about my life, I'm tired of it already. You don't have to stick your nose into my life, or other's problem!"

It surprised him that she actually responded- well right away, which made him think of a reply. "Your problem is my problem. We've had the same problem."

A sigh came out of her mouth, brushing her hair to the back out of frustration. She was almost yelling on top of her lungs, how her veins about to pop out when she talk. "It's been years, Yangyang! Get rid of this done! I know i've been selfish with my own feelings, I didn't know how it works. No experiences, I've never been into someone and never been in this situation. I was on my own going through a hard life, all these feelings were playing with me at the same damn time."

"What are you trying to do? Just come around, wreck with my feelings and leave me behind?" Yangyang became more quiet as she let it out, watching her dodging him from being touched- from letting him comfort her.

"Stop playing around and using me, I just feel like I'm fooled! You wont understand someone unless you feel what theyre feeling, you wont know someone until youre going through the same as them." She was furious, frustrated, annoyed, tired. His slights parted lips and, eyes focused to stare at her.

"You didn't understand how you left me numb and hopeless after you departed, I was clueless about everything. You didnt know what i have been through, the days I've regretted not knowing that we were done- that I wasn't able to see you anymore, not even a proper farewell. You don't know what i felt.."

The drunken feeling was slightly tingling in her head. She was mostly angry of herself, all messed up by the emotions having a roller coaster ride inside her. Without realization, she let the tear escape from her eyes, slowly streaming down her cheeks. Yangyang froze, not knowing what to do by the blank expression plastered on his face.

It reached a limit. For the first time ever, a person cried out of sadness- out of pain. For the first time ever he hurt someone to reach this point. Where he hurt someone and let her cry, let her suffer.

She was biting her lips, having the urge to look down and avoid his stare but she stayed strong. "Chunhua.." he called out. She didnt want to look, she didn't want to stare back at him and continue the eye competition they once had. "Chunhua." He called again.

She can hardly breathe by hearing the name coming out of his mouth. His face wasnt showing anything obvious but he worry for her. She suddenly feel so stuffy in the inside, feeling how emotional she is, how she almost hiccup in between her breath.

"I'm sorry." Yangyang finally spoke. Her heartbeat stopped.

It quickened its rate, how she felt her heart pounding so loud and hard. "I'm truly sorry for leaving and not wait for the answer. I beg you to forgive me cause i never meant to toy with your feelings."

and that was when chunhua broke down in tears, she let her tears flow out smoothly down her face. How wrecked she looked, nothing mattered at this time. She wanted to punch and say all the bad things to him. She was too tired to deal with it, but then again, he was the one who made her cry and was the one who completely made her day.

"I shouldve been understanding." He continued.

She let him approach her slowly and carefully, letting her release all the emotions she have kept in and let her head fall on his shoulder to cry on. "I'm sorry." repeatedly, he said.

Yangyang brought her home that night, she instantly pass out on the couch as he put her down. Her head on his shoulder then slowly slipping onto his lap as she make herself comfortable adjusting her position. He can barely hear soft snores coming out of her mouth, showing how tired she was.

He scanned her features quietly, not realizing that he was caressing her hair and play with it. He softly mutter in her ears, "You don't know how much I missed you."

She looked foolish to him, her cheeks and nose were really red and her body was burning hot because of the fever and alcohol she had. She might be drunk but at least she have let it out all her might. It seemed that she was really tired- now peacefully sleeping.

In the middle of the night, Kate came home sober, tired and all. She zoomed in through her view to take a better look at the lifeless-looking person that was sleeping peacefully on the couch. 'Huh?' Her eyebrows furrowed. There was a missing spare blanket on the rack next to the television cabinet which was on Chunhua.

Yangyang stood up when he saw her, tucking Chunhua in and take a last glance at her. "Please take a good care of her." He said to Kate, giving a slightly worried smile and she just nodded.
