EDITED - added storyline, just a filler chapter :')

She woke up to feel herself shivering in cold when the heater was obviously on. Turned out it was because of the damp towel all over her body to decrease her hot temperature. Not used of being drunk in a foreign country, Chunhua made herself a hangover soup in the morning when she got up and just at how she missed chinese and korean foods, she can only pray for something better. She didnt have class nor shift for her work for two days.

She spaced out a lot- in her shower, while she's cooking, when she's eating, even when she's walking around the house- forgetting where she wanted to head to. Her whole memory was a blur but she remembered of how emotional she was last night. The first thing she do when she got into her room was looking at her swollen eye followed with her red nose and how smelly she was by the amount of alcohol she consumed. Then, thinking how she got here. That she arrived safely drunk last night.

There was heard a noise of plastics in the kitchen in the afternoon, making her way to it to see her roommate taking out some small familiar boxes out of it. Kate rarely come back home twice, she prefers arriving at night than going in and out of campus. So it was a new thing that she came back to look after Chunhua for a while.

Kate soon noticed the presence of her standing in athe living room, calling her. "Oh? Chunhua. Come here, you should take this medicine and i bought you hangover pills."

Her eyebrows furrowed but she made her way to the kitchen counter and sit across Kate. "Kate, you don't have to." Chunhua was worried at some point, knowing how caring she was, spending her money on medicines just for her. "I had to." Kate smiled. Kate then started to pour a glass of water and put it on the counter, handing it to her.

"You should take some at least to recover. Its better than nothing." She calmly said, and Chunhua obeyed, gulping down some pills.

Carrie came over after she finished her classes in the morning. Revising and doing extra tutoring to learn German together with Chunhua. Carrie wanted to make sure she can make up words as she learn and speak, keep practicing and trying. Kate saw and noticed them learning for a few hours already, then Chunhua checked her phone just in case.

"Spare me a minute, I'm just going to reply to this message."

Kate on the kitchen counter asked from afar to Carrie, welcoming her as a guest as she take out some glass. "Do you drink apple juice?"

"I don't really like apple juice, plain water is fine." Carrie replied with a smile, looking back at Kate. Chunhua glanced at them with her phone in her hand as they were communicating in their own language, she can understand little by little.

Carrie looked back at her, snapping her fingers like she just remembered something.

"Oh right, Chunhua. I forgot to tell you that there are a lot of words connected to these. You can use these phrases in different terms based on the situation such as; wirklich, eigentlich, tatsächlich, unbedingt, wahrlich, and a lot more with a meaning of really, actually, literally and yeah stuffs like that. For example; Ich mag Saft which means I like juice. If youre saying you really like juice then you say, Ich mag Saft wirklich, or Ich mag Saft eigintlich. We'll get deeper into that topic after this."

Her eyebrows furrowed stronger than before, having a confused look on. "Huh?" She thought she was hearing things and it was from her head. Some familiar words she can't seem to recall, only to nod, saying that she understands.

On her free time after classes and lectures, Chunhua came to apologize to the librarian for not coming to work when she had to as she was ill. The librarian just shrug it off, watched her study across the room as an average student. Muttering to herself, "This girl is such a weird girl, she doesnt even have a laptop to do her works but she's really hardworking."

To Chunhua, it didn't mattered about technology and stuff, didnt mattered if she can afford or not. She can use the library's computer. Plus, she's already known as a typical student who write down important points for notes the fastest by scribbling and doodling on her own notes. As fast as she types on a keyboard, she prefer writing and typing on her phone than a laptop.

She didn't forget to check the dictionary and learning books to refer the words Carrie told her that have a bunch of different meanings and thought about something had to do with likings or favorites.

By the help of internet and the app her friend once suggested her, she still wanting to search it up, but not too direct for a translation. Random things popped up, and words related to what she search to learn. A sentence caught her attention in a website she visited about learning German.

'Having a German lover helps you improve in learning German language'

Her thoughts ask in the matter of factly, eyebrows knitted in confusion, "what fact???"

While walking around the neighbourhood, Chunhua reminded herself that she's out of papers to write down notes in class. She searched for a bookstore nearby and read a huge sign board above the shop, stepping in without hesitation.

She looked around at first, taking her time to see what's available. She remembered that she's used to play with the pens and markers displayed every time she's in bookstores, trying it one by one. Some Germany's own pens as Schneider were pricey than the pen she always buy, somehow hesitating to play with it when the old style pen have one tester pen only, tied with a small rope attached on the brand's section.

Yangyang glanced at his surroundings, he turned off his phone that he used while walking and instantly enter the shop. Normally in bookstores, he would buy a mint candy and drinks near the counter after buying some books and stationery, only taking less than 5 minutes to spend there.

Seeing a section full of files, binders and paper, Chunhua made her way towards it. She havent decided to buy a4 paper, a4 books, or just notebooks with blank paper. To be creative, she can make herself a mind map and doodle stuffs she want on the notebook. Small notebooks would be useless too, easy to buy and use, also easy to finish fill it in just a few months. Note pads would be a waste too, she thought.

He grabbed a mint candy, placing it on the counter, and looked around as the cashier was busy. The shelves near the cashier were filled with the latest designs of notebooks as what he saw. A notebook immediately caught his attention since the last time he got here it was out of stock.

He did walked for a round to do his window shopping and saw the same figure of an average girl that arrived earlier than him, now standing in front of the shelf, thought that she was someone familiar. Yangyang walked directly towards it without taking another look, taking it out of the shelf.

Chunhua look at the notebooks in her hands, differentiate the prices and quality, carefully making a choice. She felt the presence of the person making its way towards the section so she focused on the stuff she searched for, looking down to the books and taking a step closer to the shelf. A hand extended just above her head, a few seconds of looking at the book in its hand, the person left to pay for it. He greeted the cashier with a smile like he always did.

With the stationery she needed and the lime green notebook she chose, she made her way to the counter, waiting for the cashier finish scanning it. She turned her head towards the door that was closed and left a ring of a bell, staring at the man walking out of it.
