Chapter 3 - Sad Happy Eyes.
Louis entered the bakery a few days later again. And he immediately felt joy as he saw the sweet curly head again. The last time, his boss said the name of the stranger, but Louis, unfortunately, had not listened. He would have liked to surprise him and greet him with his name. However, this morning remained the norm.
"Good morning, I would like to have three buns."
Green eyes met blue again. And it was a magical moment. This time, the boy's glare behind the counter lingered much longer on Louis. It was a beautiful feeling. Nevertheless, both boys blushed after a short while and the beautiful lips of the younger one finally opened.
"C-Comes right away." He stuttered timidly. Louis liked his stutter, though it meant he was probably very nervous.
And so it would be repeated. Every morning, the same dialogue. However, the two talked more and more each day - their exchanged glances said more than a thousand words.
Some time passed and on a rainy Tuesday morning, Louis found himself in the sweet little bakery - once again. He was already prepared this time. A red rose hid behind his back, his fingers clasped around the stem.
However, he then saw the look of the green-eyed boy and realized something was wrong. Louis raised his eyebrows and studied him. He could see blue, with concealer hidden, spots on his face.
Immediately, Louis wondered. Wondered what had happened to him. He was worried about the baker, that's great. However, he was interested in him, wanted to know how he is. Even though he didn't want to crush on him, he was afraid, he already did. Head over heels.
After all, he generally seemed a little sad and more introverted than usual.
"Hey, is everything okay?", Louis asked, looking at him. When their glances met each other, he saw how sad his otherwise so happy eyes looked.
A nod - and that's it. Louis got his three grain-breads, but no answer to his question this morning.
