Chapter 9: The Sorting Hat

A/n: Hey everyone. Look. ITS BEEN A YEAR AND I HAVENT UPDATED HOLY SH*T. I AM TRULY SORRY AND THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR IT. I will be regularly updating now with breaks when needed. I am writing a Hazbin Hotel x Male Reader! So, here's what you've all been waiting for!

Y/n's POV:

After some minutes of talking and having fun with Ron and Harry, the train came to a full stop. We all got out of the train and it was completely night time.

"First yer's first yer's follow me!" Hagrid shouted with a lantern in his hand.

We followed him and we each sat in a boat sailing through the water with lanterns in each one. The Hogwarts castle came into view and it was simply extraordinary! The moon was showing itself as the lights in Hogwarts shined like the sun. I've been to Hogwarts before, but it feels like this is the first time I'm seeing it!

Everyone was simply amazed at the beauty of Hogwarts and I was too!

"Wicked!" Ron then looks at me and I nodded in agreement.

"I want to sssee!" (S/n) whispered.

"Not now later." I replied quietly back at him.

We got off our boats and started heading into the castle going upstairs and turning corners along the way. We meet up with Professor McGonagall who welcomed us all to Hogwarts.

"In a few moments you will pass through these doors and join your classmates, but before you can be seated, you must be sorted into your houses. They are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin." she explained before continuing," Now while you are here your house will be like your family. Your triumphs will earn you house points, any rule-breaking will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points will be awarded the house cup-"

"Trevor!" The shout came from a boy who hurried over to pick up his toad? Oh, he must be Neville then.

A few awkward moments pass by while the boy said sorry for interrupting her talk.

"The sorting ceremony will begin momentarily." She finished before walking away.  

"It's true then." A voice again rang out, I looked over to where the voice was coming from and it was none other than that boy from the robe shop!

"Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts," he spoke, sounding smug about it. I could feel my blood boiling a bit," This is Crabbe and Goyle, and I'm Malfoy."

He continued after walking over to Harry," Draco Malfoy." I tried not to laugh and I succeeded, but Ron let out a snort.

"Think my name is funny, do you? Cuz I can guess yours, red hair, hand me down robe, you must be a Weasley." He said looking at Ron who was now frowning.

"You'll soon find out that some wizarding families are better than others Potter, you don't want to be making friends with the wrong sort." I could tell he was mentioning Ron, but not me. I wanted to punch him in the face so badly. " I can help you there." He suddenly lent out his hand for Harry to shake.

Harry looked at it and then answered," I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself thanks."

I felt like laughing at Draco, but soon after Professor McGonagall was right in front of us. Draco went back with his henchman slightly glaring at Harry.

"We are ready for you now. Follow me" She said, leading us to the great hall. 

The doors opened to reveal four tables that all had students in them, candles were floating up in the air seeming too never being able to reach the top of the ceiling since it was so high up! At the very end, I saw a table with all the professors and the headmaster. I saw my father sitting in his chair looking at the group of students that were with me.
