Chapter 16: Christmas Shopping

Hello everyone! Yes. I am still alive! And I have a perfectly good reason why I've been gone. School. Yes. School. Literally school has been keeping me back. And it sucks. BUT I'M HERE NOW SO LET'S CONTUINE!

Y/n's POV:

Ah, it was that time of year! And yes by that I mean it's December which means Christmas! After that little reveal about Nicolas Flamel from Hagrid, me and the trio have been looking for any hint of his name. But since Christmas was coming up it has become more hectic and worse...

It was bloody freezing!

But that didn't stop me from my plans for Christmas shopping! Yep, that's right! Me, (Y/n) Snape. will halt the search for Nicolas Flamel to do some shopping because. I need a break to clear my damn head! This month is supposed to be filled with cheer, not pampering about mysteries. At least not right now anyway.

"Please."

"No."

"Pleaseee."

"(Y/n) I said no."

"I'll tell the staff that you read vampire romance novels."

"..." My father stared at me, a cold look meeting my different colored eyes. It was basically a stare off at this point, to see if I was serious. I didn't flinch but instead had a mischievous smirk. Right then and there he gave up, sighing as he stood up from his desk. "You really are a nuisance sometimes (Y/n)."

"That's a yes?" I smiled, getting excited as soon as he nodded. "Alright! Let's go now!"

"(Y/n), patience. I need to get ready and you should as well." He implored, giving me a stare as he usually does.

Nonetheless, I giggled and nodded, quickly exciting his quarters, and skipped towards my common room. Thankfully most of the students were gone so I didn't really care if people saw me skipping. I was way too happy to care. It has been a while since my father and I've gone shopping together! So needless to say I was excited to spend time with him. He's been busy as of late, always doing his work and grading papers. But now that it is winter break his workload has decreased. Meaning it was time for some father and daughter bonding time! And buying presents!

Nobody's POV:

After feeding a dead mouse to (S/n) you changed into a more comfortable attire. You hated the cold, the numbness, the shaking. It was as if you were a snake. Which made sense considering you were in Slytherin. Needless to say you were dressed top to bottom with wool and cloth. Patiently waiting for your father to come and take you to the closest town to Hogwarts. Which was Hogsmeade.

"So." A familiar cold voice cuts the air, turning around you see your father dressed in a black coat. Long enough to cover his legs per usual with black gloves. He always wore black which was his go-to. The day where he would actually wear colors would be the day you blasted him. Because that just wasn't normal and it probably was a fake. "Shall we go?"
