'Is something on your mind? You are not here.'

I shook my head, popping some food in my mouth. 'I feel fine, just thinking,' I muttered. Prime tried to read off my face what was going on. 'Where's Skylla?' I asked. 'Honestly, your interest in her gets creepy,' Ironhide said. 'No, I just wanted to know where she is,' I muttered. 'I don't know... home?' he said and shrugged. 'I thought she had to work today,' I muttered. 'Go ask Lennox if she's here or call her,' Ironhide said with a roll of his eyes. 'I was just thinking...' I trailed off. They all looked at me. 'Skylla is a front liner, right?' Optimus nodded. 'So am I... what if we can work together. I can teach her stuff, I'd love to train her. She can work for me. We can do missions together, she can come with me to the front.'

'Are you sick? Should I give you a full check up?' Ratchet asked, breaking the silence. 'Is it a stupid idea?' I asked. 'No, but to hear it come from your mouth. Do I need to remember that you kill humans?' Prowl asked. 'No her... I mean, she doesn't have anyone. She told me things and I can relate. She's working to forget and you don't have to tell me that it's a bad thing. I just think that we can look after each other.' Prime looked at Prowl for a moment. 'You should talk about it with Skylla first. If she wants it and if she approved, I'll talk to Lennox about it.'

'I did. She approves. She wants to work for me.'

There fell another silence. 'Really? When did you talk to her?' Prowl asked a little suspicious. 'On our way to the McDonalds. She hated beets and I wanted to score points so we skipped dinner and went into town.' Ratchet gave me that all too familiar look. 'Come on, beets are gross,' I sulked. 'Can I ask one question?' I glanced at Ironhide. 'Why is this so important to you? The one who doesn't care about anything or anyone,' he scoffed. 'Because she suffers from PTSD. She's struggling with herself and with the loss of her brother. I know how it feels to struggle with yourself because I've been there. She's a tough cookie but I can see the pain beneath her shell. She lost her father and her brother. Her mother suffers from depression and she has no one left. Maybe I can't help, perhaps I can't make a difference but I wanna try because I would've loved to have someone during my darkest days. People just always assumed that because I am a psychopath I don't need someone.'

Optimus sighed softly and slumbed back in the chair. 'Remember what you told me?' I asked. Prime glanced at me, 'that if you find someone you like you've to open your spark? I am doing with Skylla. I feel a connection with her. Just like Bee has with Sam. Let me help her. She had done things... mistakes I have made too.'

'Why wasn't the PTSD in her file?'
'Because she was afraid no one wanted her. She kept it a secret and told me because she trusted me. If I have bad intensions, I would've killed her already. You know that I don't like to see people have the victim role. I would've killed her if I wanted her dead. I am not doing this so I can get closer to her because you know I would've stalked her regardless your orders.'
Prime raised his hand. 'I will talk to Lennox about it today, but I don't want you to use her in your own benefit. I will trust you with this responsibility because you're my best front liner and I know you can teach people if you want. But you're not going to use her.'
I nodded, 'alright, don't worry about it.'

((Skylla's P.O.V))
I love couch days. Just doing absolutely nothing in my comfy clothes and some snacks. I was watching a series, station 19 on Disney+. I started watching it a couple of weeks ago and I was hooked. Just like I love Grey's and anatomy. I popped some chips in my mouth and looked up as my phone buzzed. I swear, I'd it's Lennox asking me to come for the base I'll jump out of the window. I picked up while pausing the episode. 'Sir?' I asked. 'Congratulations.' I frowned and sat up. It's not my birthday and why would he call for that if it would've been my birthday. I am not one of his closets soldiers. 'I've granted permission,' he added.

'Uhm, I am sorry, sir. I am probably tired but...  for what exactly did you grant permission?' I asked. 'That you start working for Sunstreaker now,' he said. The first few seconds, I wasn't able to utter a single word. That bastard!

'I think there's a misunderstanding. We've talked about it but... I rejected his offer—' Lennox cut me off. He didn't want to hear it. 'You start Monday. You report to Sunstreaker and he will decide your training schedule. Have a nice day.' He disconnected the call. I just felt numb. I was so pissed off and angry. I dressed up and headed towards the base.

'Where is he!' I spat out. Epps jumped. 'Where's who?' He asked. 'Sunstreaker,' I spat out. 'Uhm, in the Autobot hanger like usual,' he said. I stormed off. I couldn't control myself. He ignored what I said. I tried to be polite. I marched over to him slapping his cheek so hard it echoed off against the wall. He jumped back. 'How dare you! Who do you think you are!' I shouted. He recovered but his cheek was pretty red. 'Listen—' pushed him forcefully away from. 'I was finally having a nice day off until I got a call from Lennox, congratulating me. I start working for you! I never agreed with that! I've tried to explain to you that I am done being a front liner and if you think that I am work for you! Then you're wrong. You're not my boss, you're not my partner and apparently, you're not my friend!' I screamed.

'I actually wanted to call you myself to explain to you why I did what I did,' he said as I was about to walk off. 'Really? I don't wanna hear anything coming from you. We are done, I don't ever want to talk to you again and if you kill me, I don't give a fucking shit!' I shouted. Sunstreaker sighed. 'I am trying to explain to you why I did it but you don't want to listen,' he snapped. 'Go to hell, Sunstreaker. Just leave me alone.' With that open in the air, I stormed off.
