'Before you slam the door shut in my face, I'm check here to check-up on you.' I gritted my teeth. 'I'm fine, still alive as you can see so that you can go back to base,' I grumbled. He let himself in. 'Remember what you told me?' I snorted, crossing my arms. 'I told you a lot of things. You need to be more precise.' He sucked in a breath. 'You didn't want to talk to me because I was rude, remember?' I nodded. 'So, are you right now.' I turned around and strode into the living room. 'Just— what do you want?' I muttered. Heverywhereowed me around. 'I'm worried about you, and I know you don't want anything to do with me, especially after what I did. I'm sorry, you're right; I was wrong. I can make that happen if you want your old spot back.'

I turned around and eyed him. 'But...?' I asked. 'It's not going to work if you're head isn't fully in the game. It'll get you killed.' I sighed. 'I know...' I muttered. 'Have you eaten yet?' I pointed at the kitchen. 'Just about to make some eggs.' He took off his leather jacket. I sat down on the barstool, watching him. 'Why is this so important to you? You don't even like humans.' He shrugged. 'But I like you!'
I blinked. 'If you give me a chance, we could be friends.' It sounded unlikely. 'I don't want to lose you. I already lost everyone, Sunstreaker.' He met my gaze. 'You're already attached to me. I understand; it's impossible not to like me. You can be rude and angry whatever you want, but it won't change how you feel about me.'

We fiddled with my hands. 'Arrogant piece of metal,' I muttered. I saw him smirking. 'But I swear if you ever set me up again—' he cut me off. 'I told you, I can change what I did. If that's what you want.' I stared at him. 'So, do you want me to reverse what I did or not?' I tapped on the countertop. 'So? What's it going to be?' He shoves the plate my way. 'It would be great if you reverse what you did,' I muttered. 'Do I hear hesitation?' I shook my head. 'No.'

'Alright.'

He reached for his phone. 'You don't have to do this now.' He glanced at me. 'Why not? The sooner, the better, right?' I nodded slowly. 'Yeah, but one hour more or less doesn't matter. Have you eaten?' He nodded. 'I have.' He dialled Lennox's number. 'Wait! Just wait.'
He glanced at me. 'What?' I sucked in a breath. 'Can you please just sit down and let me eat?' I muttered to hide my embarrassment. Sunstreaker frowned a little but obligated my request. 'Sure.' I slowly ate my food while I felt his eyes burn holes in my body. 'What is it, Sunstreaker?' I scolded. 'Nothing, just curious why you want me to wait. I thought you wanted to reverse what I did.'

I did. It's what I wanted after I figured out what he did, but on the other hand, I started to get attached to him. I was battling myself on what to do—allowing myself to get more attached to him and eventually lose him like I lost everyone or push him away and stopped seeing him completely.

Finally, I popped some food in my mouth so I couldn't answer his question and slowly started chewing. I almost choked as I felt him behind me, laying his hand on my back. 'There's nothing wrong if you want me to train you.' I rolled my eyes. 'You are horrible.' He chuckled. 'I know, darling.' Sunstreaker pressed a kiss on the side of my head, something I had never expected him to do. He returned to his original spot on the couch, scrolling through his phone while waiting for me to finish, and when I did, he asked me the one question I had been trying to avoid. 'You'd like me to make that phone call now?'

I stared at him. 'Theoretically, what if I say yes to your entire training thing? What will happen?'
'Uhm, I start training you, and I am your mentor, basically.' I snorted, shaking my head. 'Right, and you're going to make my life a living hell?' He shook his head. 'No, I mean... depends on how you will treat me. I don't mind forcing you to run a few extra laps around the base if you give me a big mouth... oh, and you have to call me 'sir' because, well, I am your boss now.'

'That's not going to happen, Sunstreaker. I will never call you sir, ever!'

He rolled his eyes. 'Whatever.' He looked at his fingernails. 'But it's all theoretical, right?' He smirked a little. 'Ugh, fine... make your stupid phonecall to Lennox and reverse what you did.' His face dropped. 'But...? I thought you wanted it now.' I slid off the barstool. 'Oh, you were bluffing? I can fix it myself then; after all, you lied to Lennox, so it won't be hard to fix.' He got off the couch. 'But it also means you won't see be seeing me anymore then.' I cocked a brow. 'Why? You're going to move out now?' I taunted. 'No, you're just another annoying human brat. Not special at all, and I will treat you that way.'

I huffed at his statement. 'Sure, whatever. It's not like I care,' I scolded. 'I think you do. 'cause you don't have anyone except Ratchet, of course.' That was cruel. 'Can you leave now, Sunstreaker? I am done with you already.' I grabbed his jacket and pushed it into his hands before walking to the door. 'If you refuse to work with me, then you need to face the consequences as well,' he warned. 'I am pretty sure I can live with that; Bye, Sunstreaker!' I slammed the door shut in his face. All I need to do now is talk to Lennox and fix this.
