'So, you spoke to Lennox?'

I let out a scream and turned. That smug face. It made me wonder what it would feel like to punch it off his face. 'Not yet, I just arrived.' I strode into the locker room. Sunstreaker was right behind me. 'I'll walk you with him, then I can continue my day.' I removed my jacket. 'Then this will be the last we see and talk to each other.' I turned around. 'I suppose.' He reached for my face, brushing some strands from my face. 'Shall we?' His warm touch stained on my cheek as he pulled back. I closed the locker behind me and walked after him. 'You're basically blackmailing me.'

'Is that so?'

'Yeah, you only want to be friends if you can teach me.' He shrugged. 'I'll be wasting my time otherwise.' I met his gaze. 'Wasting your time?' He didn't reply. I picked up my pace. It all doesn't matter to him. Self-centered piece of shit. 'Skylla.' He grabbed my elbow. 'I'm sorry— that's not what I meant.' I yanked my arm back. 'It's exactly what you meant! I was stupid to believe you actually cared.'
I passed him. 'I don't want you to go to Lennox.' I stopped in my tracks. 'I need something good in my life for once. Fine, I was an asshole and I never should've done what I did... you're right about everything. I'm asking you to... give me a second change.'

I turned around and scanned his striking features. His eyes darkened a little. 'Sunstreaker— I'm not sure if this will even work out.' He approached me. 'Give it a change.' His voice send shivers down my spine. A dark blush crept up on my cheeks as he trapped me between the wall and plated his hands next my head. 'I hate you.' He smirked and leaned forward; his lips brushing over mine as he spoke again: 'No, you don't.' My knees wobbled at the closeness.

My throat dried up as I searched for the right words. 'Don't go,' he whispered with so much emotion, I couldn't ignore it. Sunstreaker stepped back, smoothing his skin tight shirt down. The white shirt that hugged his powerful body. I'm a fool. A complete idiot for turning this offer down. I never considered this as a new start. Ratchet was right, Sunstreaker could smooth my pain, be there for me. At least, for as far his psychotic tendencies let him.

'Fine.'

His voice dropped into a whisper,— an erotic caress of sound that brought heat to my cheeks. 'Thank you...' I doubted he said those words a lot. He meant it. The male stepped back, giving me space to breathe. 'Don't be late.' He pivoted and prowled down the corridor, just to disappear in the sea of faces. All that remained of him, was the delicious smell of aftershave and his words still lingering in the air. It left me baffled and frozen. By the time I turned to walk in the opposite direction, I took note of the minutes that had passed since he left.

If I would be late, Sunstreaker would definitely show his disapproval and I wasn't in the mood to go through his wrath today. At exactly 10 AM, I stepped in one of the smaller training halls, skimming room briefly while approaching. With Sunstreaker's dominating presence, all the air was sucked out of the room. It made my heart gallop.
The mech flashed me a feral smile, pure predatory, like a wolf sizing up his prey. 'I'm still not going to be easy on you.' I hadn't expected it either. 'I'm not sure how serious you're taking this second chance...' I retorted, squinting my eyes. Sunstreaker tipped his head back, roaring out a laugh. Not all amusement.

His gleaming icy blue eyes drilled right through my soul. 'The only reason I haven't got berserk on you yet, is because you cut yourself. If I wanted you dead and broken, I would've done that already. I'm hoping this will get your mind if things... get the edge off that pent up frustration and grief.' I angled my head. Sunstreaker's eyes softened, as the words he said reminded him of what had almost happened. I would've died if it wasn't for Sunstreaker's keen awareness.

As long as he doesn't give a piece of himself, I wasn't going to share more information about my fucked up life. Last time I did that, I ended up in this mess. 'What about your anger and frustration?' I dared. I should've been dead for this, but to my surprise, his mouth curved upward at one side. 'Don't push your luck, human. Maybe one day you get to know darkest secrets, but that isn't today.' I didn't much as blink, taking in the words that still lingered through the air.

I cleared my throat and changed the subject. 'So...? What's your plan?' I squared my shoulder in a miserable attempt to look bigger and less submissive. Sunstreaker patted his legs a little, crossing his muscular arms over that ridiculously muscular shaped chest, taking note of my attempt. Pure psychotic arrogance. 'Let's do some warming up first, sweetheart.' I growled. The mockery he put on the word sweetheart, made me want to punch him. 'Don't call me that.' He clicked his tongue and marked my every move. 'You're feeling good enough to fight me, so lets use that venous tongue of yours and turn that into something physical.' I rolled my eyes. 'Twenty laps.'

'You know I don't ran laps.'

He approached,— each movement smooth and silk. Like feline grace. 'If I tell you to do something, you will,' he whispered near my ear. My cheeks flushed a bright red. 'You wouldn't like me to punish you, do you?' He added, nudging me with his elbow. My body went rigid. I should've hated him for it, but I didn't. 'Fine,' I bit out, stepping back.

As I ran my laps, I tried to block the hawk-like eyes. Those eyes that missed nothing. Monitoring every movement of my muscles, every disturbance in my balance and every indication of pain. I wasn't sure what he would do if he did pick up on pain if I had it. Perhaps he'd told me to stop and force me to see Ratchet or he would throw another fit on me.

I was lost in a chain of thoughts that I hadn't heard him calling my name nor noticed the pillar ahead of me. I ran right into it and collapsed with a loud thud. It had to be the most humiliating day of my life. Sunstreaker crouched grabbing my jaw. 'Say one word and I'll show you exactly how skilled I am!' A muscle in his jaw ticked. 'I was going to ask if you're okay...' he trailed off, voice rough. 'You were so distracted... want to talk about it?' Absolutely not. I am not going to boost his ego even more. 'I just tried to proof my statement why I'm not running laps.'

Sunstreaker surveyed me before getting up and offering his hand. In one swift motion, I was back on my feet. 'It's going to be a nasty bruise, but I guess you made your statement... I know you've no trouble harming yourself...' he began and I flinched as his voice whetted itself an edge. 'But what just happened was not on purpose.' He took his usual dominant stand. I drowned the urge to touch my painful forehead and shrugged. 'Can you focus now?'
My cheeks heated once again. He must absolutely love seeing this. There's point in lying and o knew it was going to be a long day.
