THIS BOOK HAS VIOLENCE, SWEARING AND SEXUAL CONTENT

I pushed open the door of the hotel room where we are stranded for a couple of days. Just got back from a dangerous mission with the Autobots and I can use some sleep. I luckily had my own room. It's not like I asked for it, but it turned out to be like this. I dropped my bag on the floor and sat down for a moment, overthinking my mission. I joined the Autobots three months ago and with the age of 19, I am the youngest. People doubted me sometimes, especially Mearing. She's not too fond of me while I am the best of my group. Prime does seem to like me and so does Ironhide.

I heard a knock on the door and got up. Perhaps it's Lennox to check up on me. I haven't said much the last 2 hours in the car. I was just really tired. I opened up and faced the only mech I thought I wouldn't see today. Sunstreaker. With his muscular 6'3 ft body, he's quite intimidating. Especially with his soulless icy blue eyes. 'Hello fleshy...' he said and flashed me a psychotic smile. Sunstreaker doesn't talk to humans unless he wants something or is about to kill someone. I never really met him in person. Only seen him fight and train. 'I heard something interesting,' he trailed off. 'Which is...' He pointed behind me. 'You are alone, right?' he asked. I gave a small nod, 'I am...' I said slowly. 'So, there's room for a mech or what?' he asked. 'Be my quest...' I said slowly, stepping back.

Sunstreaker is a dangerous mech. He'll get what he wants anyway and I don't want to be in his way. I bet he'll mind his own business anyway. 'Great...' he passed me and looked around. 'Which side did you claim?' he asked. 'I haven't claimed anything yet,' I replied while shutting the door. 'Great, I will take the right side, then,' he said. Sunstreaker doesn't necessarily needs to be here in a room with me. He can just deactivate his holoform but he somehow decided not to. Maybe better, this neighborhood is shady and having him here at least gives a feeling of security.

'I am going to take shower if you don't mind,' I said, opening my bag. 'No, go ahead.' He opened the door to the balcony and sat down, scrolling through his phone. Perhaps he just wanted some privacy and relax a little bit. I walked up to the bathroom and shut the door behind me,–– locking it before I undressed. I was more than happy let the cold water run down my body. Opening my eyes, I spotted blood, mixing with the water.

My leg had a nasty cut. I touched it and hissed. That's a deep cut. Strangely enough, I hadn't really noticed it until now. Maybe the adrenaline or my tiredness. I cleaned it up in the best way I could before dressing up and sitting down on my bed. Sunstreaker was still sitting on the balcony, looking at his phone. He's a handsome mech for sure. I am not the only girl who concluded that but those who said it out loud are dead. He's a psychopath after all. I switched on the TV and relaxed a little bit. Around 6 PM, Sunstreaker came inside and shut the door. 'Are you going to have dinner or...?' he trailed off. 'Nah, I am nauseous actually. You can join the others,' I said, muting the TV. 'That's not why I asked,' he snapped. I raised my hands in peace. 'You want me to leave?' I asked. 'Apparently, you are not going to leave,' he scowled. 'I am really tired, so...' I trailed off. Sunstreaker studied me for a moment. 'What's your name?' he asked. 'Skylla.'

'Oh, never seen you before,' he said. 'I know... we never met officially,' I replied. He hummed and crossed his arms. 'I joined N.E.S.T, 3 months ago,' I added. 'Why? Sounds like a bad idea... considered how...' he stopped and looked over my body. 'Skinny you are...' he finished. I looked at myself. 'You think I am like the others... full of tattoo's, bottox and bitchy?' I asked. 'At least,' he mocked and sat down. 'I still lived with my mom three months ago,' I scoffed. 'You have siblings?' he asked. 'I had a twin brother, he died,' I said. 'A twin? I have a twin too,' he said. 'Really?' he nodded. 'Sideswipe, he's also my best friend,' he said. 'Where is he now?' I asked. 'If I knew, I would have come for him. I think out there in space, searching for me,' he replied. I ohh'ed and leaned back against the pillow. 'Why did he die?' he asked. 'He served the army as well... he died in action,' I replied. 'Where were you?' he asked. 'I wasn't assigned for the mission. I was sent for another mission. I am like you... a front liner.'

'Not as good as I am,' he said. I snorted, 'no... not as good as you are,' I replied. Sunstreaker got up and walked up to the bathroom, taking a shower.

When he finished, he settled beside me, bare chested. I looked over his well-toned chest. His abs were clearly visible. Honestly, every muscle was visible and bulging. Not like a body builder, but still impressive. I caught his eyes. 'If you are done checking me out, can you turn off the lights?' he asked. I blushed and reached for the night stand. 'Thank you,' he sulked. I curled up, my back facing him–– a deep blush had crept up on my face. I shouldn't have looked at him that obviously.

The next morning, I was still so tired but I had to get up. Sunstreaker reached for his phone to turn off the alarm. He groaned and rolled on his back. I didn't want to get up. It was cold and Sunstreaker was heater for sure. I glanced at him, catching his eyes again. 'What?' he scowled. 'You don't want to get up either?' I asked. 'No, but I have too,' he said and got up. The golden twin slid out of bed nonchalantly and walked into the bathroom, changing again. I snitched my phone of the nightstand as well to check the time. 7 AM. It could've been worse.

Sunstreaker and I got our separated ways. Although, he did thank me before he left. Nothing special. Just a brief, 'thanks,' was all he had said before slamming the door shut. I decided to keep it a secret. I didn't want to have any questions from people and honestly, I didn't know either why he did what he did. I hopped in the vehicle and watched the beautiful, shiny yellow Lamborghini Aventador drive off. A handsome and pretty mech for sure.
