Chapter 13

It's been a week since Matthew got back and we've been hanging out non-stop. I told my friends about him and they were completely on board with it.

Then I told Andrea about him.

She laughed and said she knew it.

Katy was definitely the one that was most excited for us.

Matt came back to school, of course. Christmas break is tomorrow and I'm so excited.

I drive to school without Matthew today because I'm going to spend a little bit of time with the trio. I don't want them to feel like I only talk to them when Matthew's not here. I sit with them at lunch usually and Matt sits with the football team.

Unless Matthew drags me from my friends and makes me sit with him.

Today was that day unfortunately.

I hung out with the trio before lunch and then went to my locker when the hallways cleared up.

I put my books into my locker when my phone buzzed.

Andrea : Tuesday?

Christmas break was the entire month of December.

Me : YES 😍

I was really excited to hang out with Andrea again.

Matthew came up from behind me and hugged me.

"You never have any time for me anymore." He sighs.

I'm too busy texting Andrea on my phone to notice.

Matthew snatches my phone.

"Mattttttt. I need that." I say snatching my phone back.

"Sit with me at lunch today." Matthew says kissing my forehead.

"Let's goooo." I laugh.

We get our food and go to side of the school and sit on the bench.

"Soooo, I have to tell you something but you might get mad..." Matthew says.

"Oh god, what?" I sigh.

"Bobby'scomingdownforchristmasbreak." Matt says super fast.

"Slow down a bit." I laugh.

"Bobby's coming down for Christmas Break." He says and then grabs a notebook to cover his face.

"WHAT?" I yell.

"What the hell Matthew? You can't even last a fucking week without her?" I yell but not loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Hey, that's not fair. You've barely been giving me time. You're always with them or Jacob!" He says with equal anger.

"I've been spending so much time with them because they were here for me when you fucking weren't you asshole. And Jacob! You want to bring Jacob into this? You know what, I don't care. Let Bobby come. It's not my fault if she gets her ass kicked." I scream and gather my stuff.

I'm done.

What the hell?

He can't just bring Bobby into this.

"You're the one that let me go to Magcon!" He yells.

"You're never going to get it. Are you?" I scoff and then leave.

Lunch is over by the time I get back inside the school.

We have a free period next so I grab a notebook from my locker and tell Allison to come with me to "the chill spot".

We all chill there during the free period.

I'm sitting by a tree and doing homework for my next period.

Suddenly, I get hit by a football.

Matthew and Daniel are throwing the ball around and Daniel accidentally hits me.

I pick the pall and throw it in a perfect spiral back to Daniel.

"Damn! Where'd you learn to throw like that?" Daniel yells.

I look at Matt and he looks anywhere but at me.

"Matthew taught her." Allison yells and then winks at me.

I roll my eyes and get up.

Matthew comes running to me and pushes me back against the tree.

"I don't want anyone else but you." He says against my neck.

"You sure about that?" I whisper against his lips?

"Positive." He smirks.

I can't take it.

I kiss his nose and then his lips.

Allison cheers and then winks.

I look over to her and she laughs and leaves.Matt and I continue making out by the tree until the bell rings.

I won't let Bobby ruin things between Matthew and I again.
