THE PAST.

Five years ago.

Sapphire's P.O.V

I watched as my Xavier slept with his head on my lap. He slept so soundlessly, minus the odd snores every now and then. He looked so innocent and so childlike. Whenever I woke up earlier than him, I would always look at him because seeing his peaceful face calmed me to some extent.

I'm talking about the boy who is not only my boyfriend but my best friend who means the world to me.

Using my thumb, I caressed his cheeks for him to begin slowly waking up from his deep slumber.

"Morning sleeping beauty" I teased. As I massaged his head.

"Morning" He mumbled, his voice groggy from just being woken up. I loved his morning voice, deep and low.

"Wake up now, it's morning." I tapped his head.

"When did I fell asleep princess?" He got up, now more alert.

Princess, It was something only he would call me, it made me feel loved...protected.

I know somewhere in my heart, Xavier would never let anything happen to me. He'll save me from any problem I had. He is my savior because I'm his princess and he's my knight in shining Armour and yes, I sound way too cheesy.

"Please don't tell me, that I slept again while watching titanic" he looked so sad, because he was not into such kind of movies but still insisted on watching them for me.

I laughed at him as I ruffled his hair. "Yes Xavier, you slept while we were watching titanic" I stifled a grin.

Groaning, he placed his head back in my lap and mumbled, " I'm so sorry I don't know why I always end up sleeping whilst watching movies, and I'm so-"

"Xavi baby, I'm not angry, you only slept for 9 hours. It's 8 in the morning" I chuckled.

He abruptly got up, the covers flying off in the process, but my gawking was cut short as he screamed, "EIGHT?? Shit babe! I'm sorry, I really have to go! I had an important meeting and dad will kill me if I got late"

He quickly grabbed his stuff and went to take a shower. I sat there thinking whether I should get angry with him or forgive him when suddenly he came out of the bathroom only in a towel and his abs on full show. OH MY GOD.He looked like a sexy Greek god ready to bless me with his looks. He looked breath-taking. But then again, he looked at me and smirked.

"Like what you see princess?"

Shit. Don't blush Sapphire. Don't you dare blush. No matter if he's there, looking all handsome and stuff.

"I could eat you all up, you're red like a tomato.' He chuckled, making me smile even more. "But I really have to go. I'm sorry." He apologized. Smiling he came near me and kissed my cheek, "See you later love" With that he he quickly got dressed, told me he loved me and ran out of the room.
