It had been quite a time since Kevin left your Team. Not too hard of a time but a long time, just around two years, since then you guys have been handed every single rookie the station picks up. At first it seemed like Irons was punishing the team for something because you all got stuck with the worst jobs all of the time, being assigned to them straight from him of course, but after awhile he seemed to forget WHY you guys got all of the rookies and just got used to sending them your way to train. That's how things have been for a while now, but lately something has changed. With the weird cult murders in the woods less and less rookies are coming in so you and your team has been one down for a while now. Marvin says next one they get in is your guy's permanent teammate, but if things keep going the way they have been there won' be anymore rookies.

On the bright side you've gotten to see Kevin again a lot more. Since your team wasn't complete it's been spread where things seemed thinnest around the station, Brian is working theft and desecration, M.J.'s riding around the edge of the forest trying to keep everyone out with some others from the Arklay County Sheriff's Department, Marvin's on some committee to get more resources form other departments (maybe even the government if he can) if this thing gets any worse, and finally you have been sent to be S.T.A.R.S's personal assistant. Needless to say you have been worked to the bone as the murders have now been dumped on S.T.A.R.S to fix. All this time Irons deliberately kept them away from it insisting his men could take care of it, probably due to his over inflated ego, but after the better part of the RPD's swat team was taken out he was forced to hand it over to S.T.A.R.S..

You've been working with them for a few weeks now and have done countless errands for both of the teams. Everyone on them seem to be nice enough despite being unbelievably stressed, well except for the Alpha Team Captain. He seems a bit distant despite being very calm about everything going one, but everyone assures you that's just how he is sometimes and that it's just worse now because he is trying to look strong for the other members. You could definitely find that a bit commendable but you would take Marvin's tough love boss style over this unattached perfectionist's methods any day, you thanked god you weren't on his team full time. Once S.T.A.R.S. had officially been assigned to the case you had been allowed to become a bit of an honorary member for the time being so you could assist them better and train a new rookie medic that was coming to Bravo team though you haven't been given much information on that.

The moment you stepped into the office this morning you were pulled aside by Bravo Team's Captain Enrico Marini.

"(Y/n) over here." he ordered with ease. You nodded and jogged the few feet between you two towards him. "I was just told the new recruit's coming in today, her name's Rebecca Chambers. I want you to give her a quick run down with Kevin and then get her ready to go. Got it?" Enrico explained without you being able to say a word. "Go where?" you asked in return leaning to keep conversation short and to the point with Enrico. "We're doing an over head of the mountains today, shouldn't find anything new but Wesker and I want everyone suited up as if we were going to raid the cult headquarters." He explained quickly again before looking over my shoulder and raising his arm for someone to come over. Turning around to see who it was you were shocked to see a young girls standing nervously by the door with a school bag in her arms. She hugged it to her chest as she walked over to us clearly nervous. Enrico introduced her to me to her before spotting Kevin and excusing himself to go fill him in as well.

Rebecca and you looked at each other for a moment or two before you had to ask her how old she was. "I'm 18." She answered in a soft voice that clearly reflected her age. You were still confused though as the police department couldn't legally hire anyone younger than 21 to be an officer, though as if your confusion was broadcast in the office your question was answered. "S.T.A.R.S. doesn't have the same age limits as the RPD." A voice chimed in behind you, making Rebecca straighten her posture and salute. It was Alpha team's Captain Wesker being as intuitive as ever. He nodded at Rebecca to put her at ease before passing you two by entirely. Rebecca let out a sigh of relief as he left but you were not relived at all.

"You can put your stuff down at the desk in the back corner and talk to Kevin until I get back." You quickly explained to Rebecca while pointing out the desk and the person you were referring to before storming out into the hallway to follow after Wesker. You had a few words to say about hiring a child for a job this dangerous at at time like this and you were going to tell him.

Or so you thought, he seemed to be gone by the time you made it to the hallway and without knowing where he was going you had little way to track him down without wasting the better part of the day searching though the massive station. So now you had a choice you could either go back  and train the rookie like you should be doing before her first mission or leave it to Kevin just so you could tell off your sort of for now boss for being an idiot in this already stressful time.
