"I think after making it this far and with all of the work my team put in to get me here, I would like a shot with Alpha Team. I know I may not be anything special right now but I work hard to look out for my team. No one has died on my watch and I intend to keep it that way." You stated plainly as you were confident in your ability to perform to his expectations. Everything you said was true as well even though you knew you would probably lack the skills some of your peers had you were willing to go beyond your current best to make it on Alpha Team, and no one on your team has died yet, though with those dorks it seemed like it wasn't from lack of trying sometimes.

Wesker looked at you blankly for a few moments, appearing to be unmoved by your short speech before nodding and writing down something on a piece of paper. You waited patiently for him to fill out the sheet before he handed it to you silently. Looking down at it you saw it was a request form for your future uniform. "We weren't given many restrictions on uniform choices so fill out your sizes, color choice, protective preferences, and any other notes you may have on this and turn it into the front desk. The precinct has all of your other files here so I'll handle requesting them to be transferred for you, just keep an eye out for an Email telling you about the first day, come prepared for that and everything else will be settled I won't need to see you again till then." He explained quickly. You nodded hopefully understanding all of the information he just threw at you correctly. "Will do, Is that all sir?" you ask already filling out the form by copying down your current sizes and listing your preferences for the rest. "Actually there is one more thing." He replies back stepping a bit closer to you and standing at your side causing you to stop writing and look at him again. "Since one of the skills you offer to the team is a native sense of the area I would like to test out your ability, is that alright?" He asks calmly. You on the other hand were not so calm, you expected him to go over to the map of the city on the wall and ask you all of the cross streets or where all the Railway stops were or how big the Arklay Forest was or even worse he could ask you to give him the entire history of the City either way you were screwed. Still you let out a quite "Yes of course." as you really didn't have any choice but let him test the only unique 'skill' you offered the team. "Good." he said before walking over to the map and looking at it carefully as you prepared for the worst.

"Let's see what street is the station on?" He asked.

He must be starting off easy, you thought to yourself. "It's on Ennerdale." you answered assuredly.

"Yes, now what drug Corporation gave this city it's push towards industrialization." He said just as simply.

"Umbrella of course." You stated back with a smile, enjoying these easy questions so you didn't make a complete fool of yourself during this test.

"Correct, now what are these mountains called?" He asked just as seriously as the other two while pointing at the clearly labeled mountains on the map.

"The Arklay Mountains?" you nearly asked in disbelief, knowing full well that those where the mountain as they were pretty famous even out of Raccoon City due to Umbrella's medicinal herbs being grown there. You were fairly sure even he should know that.

"Great, now name this city." he tells you still as serous as could be.

"Do you mean Stone Ville?" You asked thinking that's what he must have meant even though it wasn't even on the map.

"No the one you and I are in right now?"

"Raccoon City?" You asked once again beginning to question this entire test.

"Perfect, now last question. Is there anywhere worth eating at around here?" He asked cracking a smile as he did so.

"If you wanted to ask me to lunch you should have just said so."  You joked giving him a little bit of a hard time for making you think he was going to give you a real test. "Alright then. Would you like you have lunch with me (y/n)?" he asked casually. You shook your head and laughed a bit "Why of course Captain Wesker, I would love to." you replied with a cheeky grin. "Great so I'll meet you out front of the station at 12 then." he said going right along with it. "Fantastic, It's a date then." you said without a wink not wanting him to actually think you flirting. "I'll pay." he added and you shook your head again going to finish filling out your paper so you could hand it back to him.

Upon signing your name and giving him the paper you decided it would be best to tell him about Grill 13 in case he really did want a good place to eat. "So about Lunch..." you started. "Yes, are you too busy? We can reschedule if you are." he asked raising an eyebrow at you as he did. "You really want to go with me?" you asked him back a bit surprised he wasn't joking. "If that works for you." he commented while adding your paperwork to the folder you also assumed was yours. "Yeah, I guess that would be nice. Thank you." You sort of spewed out in disbelief. "Then I'll see you again at 12." he stated opening the door for you to leave. You nodded back and probably mumbled a confused yea while walking out of the room and back towards the main office trying to figure out if he thought you were joking about it being a date or not.

Once back in the office you saw all of the members of your team huddled by your desk just waiting to hear the news. "So, how did it go?" Brian asked impatiently staring at you with his arms crossed. "I think you have to salute me or something now." You teased them. "Wait so you got the job?" M.J. asked excitedly. You nodded your head in response to them before you were pulled into a BIG group hug. "I'm dying." Kevin wheezed out before squirming out of the hug. "I'm so proud of you." Marvin said sincerely as everyone pulled out of the hug. "Though I totally helped her." Brian said smiling receiving a glare from M.J. to the shoulder. "What do you mean?" you asked. "Marvin made us all write in letters of recommendation for you, so clearly I'm the reason you got the job." Brian smiled. "Yea I'm sure your letter wasn't thrown away right away." Kevin replied sarcastically. "That's enough now, this isn't about you two." he scolded them like he was their dad.

"So (Y/N), do you know which team you made?" Marvin finally asked. You paused for a moment thinking to yourself. "I pretty sure I'm on Wesker's team." you responded. "Wesker?" Marvin asked with a cocked brow. "Yeah he's Captain of Alpha team, I guess I could ask him for sure at lunch." You reply thinking of where you were going to take him. "Wait you have a date with the Captain of Alpha team!" M.J. blurted out. "Shhh, it's not like that! He's just new in town and wanted to know a good place to eat." You desperately explained while covering M.J.'s mouth. Thankfully you didn't think the entire department heard him, but some strange looks were cast in your direction from a few of the fellow officers in the room. M.J. rolled his eyes sarcastically at you as if he was saying "Surrrre" and shook away your hand from his mouth with a smile. Brian laughed to himself a bit, but Kevin didn't seem all that amused. If you hadn't known any better you would have thought he was jealous or something. Marvin once again broke the silence. "Well, date or not we should all get back to work if we want to eat lunch sometime today anyway." He said as a friendly order to his team. They understood right away and scattered back to their desks.

You sat down at your own desk to finish up any work you had before lunch. This would probably be one of the last times you did any work in this office, with your team. You were ok with that and really appreciated all of the help they had given you. All you wished now was the best for them.
