"Well Sir, I just don't think I would have much to offer Alpha Team with the likes of people I was told would be on it. I believe Bravo team is a much better fit for me at this time given my lack professional of experience but willingness to work as hard as I can to make up for it." You explain objectively. Wesker seemed to understand and nodded before handing you a small business card sized piece of paper with the information of a man named Enrico Marini written on it neatly.  "Call the number on that paper and talk to Enrico, he'll be your Captain and should be able to tell you what he wants you to do next. Congratulations." Wesker explains rather quickly while gathering up his things in the room. "Thank you." you tell in in auto response as you read over the information on the card. "Here." Wesker says as he hands you the receiver of the white telephone on the desk. "I've scheduled this room until lunch, but since you're my last interview fell free to use it to conduct your business with Enrico until then." he tells you as you take the receiver from him.

"Thank you!" you call to him, much more sincerely this time, as he leaves. He simply lifts his free hand up to you in a "don't mention it" gesture as he walks through the room and makes his way out.

After dialing the number the phone was answered nearly right away. "Hello. This is Marini." the man stated in a deep voice that seem more stern than the other Captain you just talked to, a bit more irritated too. "Hello, this is (y/n) I was told to call you to ask about what I needed to do before my first day on Bravo Team." you tried to explain slightly regretting your decision to join S.T.A.R.S. at all. "I see hold on let me find my copy of your file..." he said trailing off in a much less aggravated tone this time. "Well (y/n) since you called I'll need you to track down all of your paperwork from across the precinct, drop it off it the new S.T.A.R.S. room, be careful it's unfinished and you may need to collect the key from the janitor or Chief Irons. Once you've done that pick up a uniform request form in there fill it out and leave it with rest of your paperwork. That should be all I need from you right now, do you got all that?" He told you slowly and clearly. "Yes, Sir." you exclaimed actually relieved it wasn't so much as you still had actual work to do that day. "Good you should get to it then, happy to have you on the team (y/n)." Enrico stated almost cordially before hanging up. Even though he didn't seem like one for conversation you thought he would be an alright enough boss if you didn't do anything to get him mad. With your quick phone call over you quickly made your way back to the main office to tell your team the news and ask Marvin where your paperwork was.

Once back in the office you saw all of the members of your team huddled by your desk just waiting to hear the news. "So, how did it go?" Brian asked impatiently staring at you with his arms crossed. "I think you have to salute me or something now." You teased them. "Wait so you got the job?" M.J. asked excitedly. You nodded your head in response to them before you were pulled into a BIG group hug. "I'm dying." Kevin wheezed out before squirming out of the hug. "I'm so proud of you." Marvin said sincerely as everyone pulled out of the hug. "Thanks but I have to get all of my current paperwork and bring it to the S.T.A.R.S. office before I actually start. Do you know where it is?" You asked Marvin casually. "Heh that's a tough one kid you know how bad the filling is here I'm sure it's a little all over, I'll give you what I have but you'll have to hunt down the rest." He responded with a bit of a laugh probably recalling any time he needed a file and had to hunt for it himself in this puzzle of a police station. "Great." you declared sarcastically knowing how long that could take and that you still had a full days work to finish on top of that.

It was going to be a very long day.

Wesker's P.O.V.

He had left the precinct in a hurry, but not before making sure to check when you were scheduled to get off work that day. You had technically worked they day shift until lunch so you were set to check out any time after then but with missing half of your shift waiting for your interview, and Enrico almost certainly giving you chores to do Wesker assumed you wouldn't really being leaving until well past nightfall. Still he decided if he was going to drop by your apartment it would be better to go sooner than later.

Had you decided to pursue a role on his team he wouldn't have taken such great lengths to try and 'get to know you' a bit better, but he really didn't have much of a opportunity to do it any other way with you deciding to join Bravo. Sure he could have chosen to just assign you at Alpha team and he would have if he didn't believe you would quit then and there. He couldn't blame you though you were completely unqualified for this job which is what made the circumstances of your situation so peculiar. Sergei himself had made sure Wesker knew you were to be hired, the rest of the S.T.A.R.S. project was at Wesker's own discretion but not that and he wanted to know why.

Your P.O.V.

After running around the station all day tracking down your paperwork jumping through fifty hoops to get the key to the S.T.A.R.S. office without having to talk to Irons directly and doing all of your regular work for the day you were beyond beat and ready to go to be. You were just hoping you had a bed still as you climbed the stairs of your apartment building you were pretty sure you forgot to lock the door this morning, to be robbed and have to go BACK to the police station today was the very last thing you wanted to do today but when you got to your apartment you found that the door was in fact locked and after you walked in and locked it again behind you, you were able to tell nothing was missing.

Weird right?
