Chapter Thirteen

After half an hour later, everyone was back at our meet up. "So what did you find?" Cap asked us. "Well we can't explain you so we're going to show you." I said and we started walking into the direction. After 15 minutes we find the building we have found in the woods. It was crowded with soldiers, amor-plates, weapons and other dead bringing stuff.
"It looks like a weapons factory." The Dum Dum explained. "I'm going to look up close." Cap said and started running up close. He ran behind some bushes. When he suddenly disappeared. "Where did he went?" Moriarti asked us. But everyone just shrugged their shoulders. "We need to wait and hope that he will come back." Barnes just said.

After 20 minutes we heard footsteps in the bushes, so me and the others pulled out our weapons and targeted at the bush. But Cap jumped out. "It's me wits." He said holding his hands up. We all dropped our weapons. "Where have you been?" I asked him. "I looks up closer, they have 4 soldiers at the main entrance. The whole place is  a hole of security guards, there is no way to get in there without getting noticed." He explained and walked up to us. "We need to make a plan." Barnes announced. Cap took a piece of paper and roughly sketched out the area. "Okay Guys, we are here. And as much I could see is this is the main entrance.." He said and circled the area. "The rest is an about 3 meters high wall, with awake watchman." He circled every part of the like that has a watchtower on them. "We will never get, without getting noticed." I said frustrated.
"That is right, but what about we knock on their door." Barnes revealed his idea to us and had this little smile on his face.

We formed a group outside the building and took out our weapons. Cap stood with his shield as the head of the howling commando. So we started running towards the main entrance. The soldiers didn't expectedly this. So they hesitated at first but eventually started shooting at us. So I shoot back and got one.
When the bombardment got intensive, I ran behind one of the trees, looking for protection. I saw that the others did the same. I took my gun and looked behind the tree and shoot a few times.
I saw how they opened the gate and a big tank came rolling out. I looked over to Barnes and he nodded. We both started running towards the tank and he jumped on it. He gave me a hand and I took it and he pulled me up. The soldiers inside haven't noticed us yet, so we climbed up to the entrance and opens that, I took one of my grenades and pulled the trigger out and let it fall inside. The soldiers noticed so we closed the door fast and jumped if the tank. We landed on the ground and tried to ran as far away as possible, but it exploded a few meters behind us. So me and Barnes threw ourself onto the ground. I had my face on the ground and my arms over my head. When the rough explosion ended, is when I noticed that Barnes had threw himself onto me, to protect me.
I moved and Barnes immediately took his arm back. He sat down onto the ground, just as I sat up. " Did you just threw yourself onto me, to protect me?" I asked him. " What, no of course not, I would do something like this. I was just-"  is anything he could said when I interrupted him, by laying my lips onto his. He was surprised, but kissed me back.
After a few seconds I released the kiss. He look at me surprised. "What was that?" He asked. "I don't know, I- I was so overcome, because no one ever did something like this to me, I guess. Oh no, now this is embarrassing." I said and held my hands before my face, to hide the fact that I blushed.
He just took my hands and pulled them down. "That is alright, I enjoyed that, no one ever did that to me." He smiles and looked me deep into the eyes and I laughed slightly. " But as much as I enjoyed it, we have a fight to win." He said and stood up, gave me a hand and pulled me up. I pulled my gun back out and ran back to the fight scene, Barnes right behind me.

The fight ended with us, overcoming the group of soldiers and burning the factory down. We won, like every time, for now.
