Chapter Twentyfive

I quickly stood up and saw Schmidt running up to the person. "Let us leave dr. Zola." He said to the small person next to him. In exact that second a army full of soldiers run into the hall.

Everyone took a place to protect their self. I ran and threw myself under the office table. I leaned onto the wood and took a deep inhale. Closed my eyes for a second and finally pulled out my shotgun and loaded it up.
I peaked out and took in the situation. I saw cap on the other side of the room. Shooting, still in his Hydra uniform.
Bucky was not far from me, in a close fight with one of the soldiers. I pulled the trigger and shot him. The soldiers fell onto his back and Bucky looked around who it was. I gave him a quick nod and he smiled back. I look around the corner of the table and I pulled my gun back up, starting to shoot random soldiers.

We stood there for a few minutes when I finally saw the opportunity to follow Schmidt. I ran down the hall, up to the big doors. During that run I hit and shoot a few of the soldiers. At one point I let myself fall into the knees and slide down the floor for a little while, a shoot 3 soldiers. I stood up and ran through the door. On my way to catch Schmidt.

Bucky POV

I shoot two soldiers at a time, when I saw Evangeline slide on the floor in her knees. What is she trying to do? I asked myself. "Where is she going?" Dugan asked me at the same time. "I dunno but where going to find out." I said and Started running towards the door.

I shoot a few soldiers, knocked one out with the back of my gun. It took me a few seconds to get me out of this chaos, but I did it. I saw Evangeline run around the corner to my left, or I just saw her boot. I quickly followed her.
A few corners and curves I finally catches up to her. She stood there, behind a wall, looking around it. I took a step towards her and she raised her gun in surprise. I raised my hands. "It's just me." I exclaimed. "Buck, you gave ne a Heart attack." She joked and sank the gun again. She turned back around.
"What are you doing? Why are you here?" I asked her. "I'm following Schmidt. He can't get away, again." She said her look still around the corner. I took her arm and turned her around, to look at me. "And that's why you left your crew. You can't do that. We need each help we can get." I explained to her and may have risen my voice a little bit. She pulled her arm away, that I still had my hand on. "Why are you then here?" She sassy said back. "He can't get away, He is the pure devil. He is the string to all the Hydra bases. We need to stop him!" He nie yelled. "But not alone!" I said. And she just looked at me. I lowered my voice again. "Your the first person I ever had real feelings about. I can't lose you, not now." She looked at me in surprise. She smiled again.

But I suddenly heard a gun shoot behind us. And I quickly turned around and shoot the soldier that followed us. He fell onto the ground and I turned back to Evangeline.
And I saw her looking at her hand, that was full with blood.
