Chapter Twentythree

I looked at myself in the mirror and I stroke over my clothe before stepping out of the 'bathroom'.
I got my weapons and walked up to the main tent.

Bucky POV

I talked to Steve, when we noticed Evangeline walking up to us. She was in her usual uniform, the forrest green jacket hugged her body, perfectly, her long brown hair was braided back, a few strains of hair hung in her face. She looked so brave and strong, yet so beautiful.
She had a shotgun strapped on here back and a holster with a hand gun on her leg.
I felt like the whole world stood still and everyone was starring at her. She walked up to us. "Ready?" She asked, but I couldn't answer I was speechless. "Uhm hello?" She asked and Steve rammed his elbow onto my rips. I ripped out of the trance and gave Steve a quick glance, before turning to Evangeline. "Ehm, sure. Are you?" I asked back.
She and Steve chuckled. "Of course." She said and walked past me.
I turned to Steve and shook my head at Steve. But he just laughed.

"So is everyone ready to leave?" Steve asked anyone. "Hell Yeah." Dugan answered and everyone laughed. "Lets kick these Nazi-pigs asses." Jones announced and everyone cheered.

Everyone walked outside, even Evangeline. But I took her wrist and took her back. She was surprised. "What is it?" She said, but I just kissed her and she kissed me back, after the shook of surprise. I Slip of the kiss again. "Woah, what was this for?" She asked and she laid her hands into my chest. I still had my hands on her hips. "You just look so beautiful, right now." I complemented her.
She just blushed.
"We need to leave or these boys will kick
Hydras ass without us." She said and walked outside again. I just laughed slightly at that. And shortly followed after her.

Evangeline POV

Bucky slowly followed me outside and we meet up with the others. "Ah there you are." Cap notes after we got to them. "Ready?" He asked. "Sure." I quickly answered.

We walked through a deep, dark forrest for about 15 minutes. The sun was still up, but this forrest is so densely overgrown, that barely any sun shines came trough. We finally landed at some kind of way, before we just tracked onto dirty and bumpy ground.

We walked this way for a few minutes, when we suddenly heard some cars coming up. "All hide!" Said and I ran behind a tree. I saw Bucky jumping behind a bush, on the directly across from me.
A few Transporters came up and when the last went past us, Cap came out of his hiding spot and jumped onto the van. I watched the scene in front of me. I suddenly saw some hydra followers fall out of the van. In this time Dugan jumped into the drivers side and knocked him out. This all happened in the matter of seconds, impressive.
Dugan stopped the transporter. "Let's get the soldiers uniform so we can drive in with the van." Morita opens up this idea to us. We just looked at each other.

Dugan, Cap and Jones had the uniforms on. Dugan and cap sat in the driver cabinet.
The drive was about 5 minutes long. Until we arrived. Dugan drove up to the gate where a security man already waited. Bucky looked out of the canopy. "Everyone shut down." He whispered and shut the canopy. We sat there in silent and hope that they don't want to check the back, where we sat.

Nothing happened for a few seconds. Not a sound. Everyone got nervous and I already packed the shotgun from my back, ready for anything. But we started rolling again and everyone sighed in relief. We all got ready and waited. Suddenly someone lifted the canopy s we all pointed our weapons on the unknown person.

"Woah, calm down. It's me." Dugan said and showed us his face. We laid our guns down again. Cap showed up behind Dugan. "Okay Guys, the airs free. Let's go." He said and everyone got out of the transporter.
