"Shea!" Mrs. Wilson called out. "Shea, come get your test." She was pronouncing it like she uh. It's pronounced like Shay.

I rolled my eyes. "It's Shea." I stated, walking up and grabbing my English test.

"Sorry, just getting to know your names." She smiled at me. Mrs. Wilson was new at our high school. She still didn't know our names and it's almost the end of the first semester.

I just nodded and walked back to my seat. I glanced over to see Vanessa smirking at me; she's my best friend FYI. I shot her a 'shut up' look and pulled out a pen. This test was going to be easy. I already knew it. Then again, English is my best subject. So all of the tests were easy.

All of a sudden I saw a folded up piece of paper land on my desk.

"Shea!" Beau whispered. "Give that to Vanessa!"

I looked at him. "Why?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Just give it to her!" He hissed.

Rolling my eyes, I handed it to Vanessa. So, to get things straight, she was dating Beau Brooks. And I wasn't too fond of him or his friends/brothers. They were, let's face it, complete ass holes. I didn't understand why she was going out with him. She could do much better. Much, much better. She was beautiful. She had long brown hair with some small blond highlights and dark brown eyes, not to mention she had THE best skin tone I'd ever seen. But sadly, she chose to give her beauty to Beau.

And, yeah, I'll admit it, Beau was hot. Very hot. So were his friends..but they were also ass holes. Super hot ass holes. Make any sense? Of course it does.

I heard Vanessa giggle and I turned to see her smiling like an idiot. What did he say that was so funny? I will never understand relationships that aren't my own. Not that I've ever had a real relationship. All the guys I'd dated turned out to be douche bags. Which is why I ask again; why date Beau Brooks?

Sighing, I swept my medium long brown hair over my shoulder. I sped through the test, as usual. I didn't feel like reading though, so I started to doodle on my notebook. Then, someone tapped my shoulder.

I turned to see Jai smirking at me. "What's number three?"

"I don't know." I said sarcastically.

"C'mon..just tell me." He smiled sweetly. Excuse me while I go barf. Or try to swallow insect repellent to keep the butterflies out of my stomach. No, I did not just say that. Ugh.

"Maybe you should just pay attention in class next time. I'm not telling you the answer." And with that, I turned around and continued to doodle.

"About five minutes left, class." Mrs. Wilson's sqeeky voice came out.

"Shea, come on. What's number three?" Jai kept tapping my shoulder.

"I'm not telling you!" I hissed at him and pushed his hand away.

"Please!" He looked at me pleadingly.

I groaned. "Fine..it's prepositions.."

He smiled. "Thanks."

Okay, so maybe Jai wasn't the biggest ass hole. But he still was one. Never fall for his kindness.

"Time is up!" Mrs. Wilson practically sang. "Please pass your tests forward."

I passed mine towards the front and Jai threw his on my desk. There's that ass hole we know and love.

Not.

I grabbed it, not caring whether I crinkled it or not, and passed it forward.

I smirked. "I hope you now that was the wrong answer for number three." And it was, too.

"What? Shea!" He glared at me and I just snickered. "That isn't funny!"

"Yeah, it kind of is. Maybe next time you'll actually listen to the teacher." I smiled and rolled my eyes.

"Screw you.." He flipped me off and crossed his arms. I just giggled quietly and put away my notebook since the bell was going to ring anytime now.

Biiinnngg!

Told you. I got up and raced towards the door. Right. Left. Straight. Locker! I quickly put in my combination and threw my books inside. Something caught my sight out of the corner of my eye. Yay. It was Luke. Why is it when I try to leave class as soon as possible he does too? Unfair, world, unfair.

"Hey." He smirked at me as he opened his locker.

"And you're speaking to me because..?" I said into my locker.

"Because I'm nice." He said sarcastically.

"Wow..have you ever read the definition for the word nice? I think you're mistaking that with ass wipe."

"Hurtful." He laughed and grabbed his history book.

"Truth hurts." I grabbed my back pack and stuffed the books I needed for homework in it.

"So, Beau, Jai, and I are hanging out today. So is Vanessa, she wanted you to come." He rolled his eyes.

"And why would I come?" I asked slamming my locker.

"Because your best friend wants you to.." He stated walking next to me.

"I don't know if I can put up with you and Beau and Jai." I said dryly.

"Fine. Don't come. I honestly was just asking you because Vanessa told me to." He shot back.

I sighed. "Where are you guys hanging out?"

"Um..our house?" He laughed.

"Dick.." I said. "But, yeah. I'll be there."

"Well that's just super." He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Fantastic, isn't it?" I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever. I'll see you later." He waved and walked away.

Douche. See you later. Not looking forward to it.
