I jumped and pulled away.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
He shook his head and began to cry again.
"I.. Look, I'm sorry. I don't know who you are but I didn't mean to make you cry," I awkwardly rubbed his back.
"Come along, boys," a nurse said.
"But-" Beau started but stopped and slowly walked out of the room with Luke and Jai.
"So, you don't remember anything?" Bradi asked.
I shook my head. "Matt's dead?"
She nodded.
"He's been gone for years," Vanessa added.
I took a deep breath.
"Was that Luke guy my. . .boyfriend?" I asked.
"Yeah, and Beau is Vanessa's and Jai is mine," Bradi said.
I looked out in the hall.
"This is just insane."
"I know," Vanessa agreed.
"I mean, what happened again?" I asked.
"You fell from a tree and hit your head," Bradi said slowly.
"And you forgot four years of your life," Vanessa whispered.
"God," I breathed.
"Yeah," they said together.
"Shea, just get some sleep," the nurse said.
I nodded.
"Love you!" Bradi and Vanessa said and walked out.
I smiled. "Love you guys too."
Slowly, I let myself fall asleep.

"And you look really pretty," Luke smiled and laced his fingers with mine.
I rolled my eyes.
"You do!" he grinned.
I laid my head on his chest and looked up at the sky.
"Do you ever think about what will happen tomorrow?" I asked.
"Sometimes," he whispered. "Why?"
"Well, I don't know. I mean, something completely unexpected could happen," I said.
"Like something good or bad?"
"Either."
He bit his lip. "You know what I expect to happen tomorrow?"
"What's that?" I looked up at him.
"I expect to see the most beautiful girl in the world walking towards my locker after study hall. Then I'd give her a ride home but we'd sit in the car and just talk for what seems like forever. Then I'd kiss her and tell her I'd see her tomorrow," he smiled down at me. "And that's exactly how the perfect end to everyday would go."
I shot my eyes open and looked around.
I was on Bradi's couch.
"Hey, sleepyhead," she smiled and continued reading.
"Bradi? I thought I was in the hospital?" I looked at her.
"You came home, but you were asleep the whole time," she smiled and set her book down.
"Where's Luke?" I asked.
She raised her eyebrows. "He's in the other room with Beau."
I sat up quickly.
"Luke!" I called.
"Shea?" he asked and walked into the living room. "What's wro-"
I threw my arms around him and rested my head in the crook of his neck.
He put his arms around my waist and hugged me tightly. "You okay?"
I sniffled. "I'm great."
"I thought you didn't remember?" he pulled back just enough to look into my eyes.
"I didn't," I said.
His eyes went wide and he pulled me back into a hug.
"Shea, I'm so sorry," he whispered through tears. "I love you more than anything and I thought I lost you."
I shook my head. "I'm right here."
He lifted me up and wiped away the tears streaming down my cheeks.
"I love you," I said.
He held me close and rested his forehead on mine.
"I love you too."
Okay, sorry I haven't updated in a while but I have an incredible explanation:
Wattpad on my iPod (aka where I usually write my stories) needed updated and when I updated it, all of my stories got deleted.
On there. Not on the computer. So, I'm writing on my computer now.
I hope you liked this (short) chapter and I promise things will return to normal.
Keep reading my lovely readers!
1300+ reads! I'm dead.
