Chapter Five

I frowned at myself in the mirror. This was the fifth outfit and it still wasn't good enough. Why was I acting like this? Because it was my first date with Luke Brooks. Not just a date. A date with Luke. There is a difference, okay?

I took off my outfit and sighed into my closet. Vanessa was in the living room, waiting for me to come show her my outfit.

"Vanessa! I can't find anything to wear!" I called down to her.

"Just pick something! I'm sure you'll look gorgeous in any thing you wear!" She called back.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed a purple top with black lace that covered it. Okay, this was good. Now..black skinny jeans? Yeah. Good. This was good. I smiled and ran down the stairs.

"Okay! How do I look?" I walked into the living room where she was sitting.

"Oh. My. God." Her jaw dropped. "Shea, you look amazing!"

I smiled. "Really?"

She nodded and hugged me. "Luke is going to have trouble keeping his jands off you."

I laughed and sat down on the couch. Now, to wait for Luke to come and pick me up.

Luke Brooks

This wasn't good. I changed my clothes again. Ugh! I was acting like a total..girl!

I took off my shirt and looked around for another one.

"Luke." Jai said but I ignored him. "Luke, come on."

"What?" I asked and pulled out a navy blue tee shirt.

"You looked fine in the last three shirts you tried on!" He stated flatly.

"No, I didn't." I pulled on the shirt and frowned in the mirror.

"Somebody help! My twin's turning into a woman!" Jai yelled and I slapped his arm.

"I am not! This is fine. I'll wear this." I said and walked down the stairs.

Beau smirked at me. "So, you're turning into a woman, huh?"

I shoved his shoulder and grabbed a bottle of water.

"Shea Ferris. You had to choose her? Of all girls, you choose Shea?" He questioned and I glared at him.

"Yes. I chose Shea." I stated flatly, taking a drink. "Why don't you like her?"

"She's a bitch! I don't know why Vanessa's even friends with her." He rolled his eyes.

"She is not! Just get to know her before you call her that!" I yelled.

"Yeah, whatever. Have fun on your date with Ferris wheel." He walked into the living room.

"Jai! I'm going to get Shea!" I called.

"Ooh! Can I come with?" He laughed.

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever!"

We both ran out to the car and I checked the time. Thirty minutes late. Fantastic, my first date with Shea and I'm a half-an-hour late.

I got out of the car and ran to her front door. I knocked a few times and the door opened.

"Luke! Shea, Luke's here!" Vanessa yelled.

I smiled and looked at the stairs. My jaw dropped when I saw her start walking down the stairs. She looked beautiful; she had a purple top with black lace covering it, her hair was straight and her bangs were french braided away from her eyes, plus black skinny jeans and black, ankle high boots.
