"Ok, so we should go out the tunnel you came in, it's probably empty enough to go through and it's the quickest way out of town." Clementine said showing Gabe the map as they walked towards the area where the hole to the tunnel was.

"Right." Gabe said, he was planning on mostly just following Clem's lead. She knew what she was doing better then he did.

Clem kept up a good-paced walk while Gabe smiled next to her.

"What?" Clem said looking at Gabe.

"What?" He said back still smiling.

"What's got you so happy?"

"Oh well..I'm-" He wanted to say "with you" but he wasn't sure how she would react to that, the last thing he wanted was for her to get upset and change her mind, just play it cool Gabe, you're cool! He thought quickly to himself, "uh...glad to finally get out of Richmond...Yeah, I mean there's not much to do there."

"Uh huh." Clem said not sure how much she believed him.

Before Gabe could respond, Clem said, "There it is." She was pointing at the familiar hole in the street that Gabe had remembered coming out of.

Gabe looked behind him, he could see in his mind the place where they had found Kate again, he remembered being so glad to see her. He could still feel her hug. "Kate...." he thought sadly. "No! Don't go there again." He told himself sternly, once he went to that dark place in his mind, he wouldn't be able to pull himself out of it for hours.

"Gabe, still with me?" Clem said looking back at him.

"Ye-" Gabe cleared his throat, "Yeah." He said turning and following Clem into the tunnel.

The tunnel itself was empty but when they reached the bridge outside the tunnel there was a few walkers.

"You think we can handle them?" Clem asked playfully, drawing her knife.

" Yeah,Let's take'em." Gabe said moisturizing his lips and gripping his bat.

Clem led the way with Gabe following closely. Clem kicked the first walker and put a knife in its head. Gabe swung sideways hard at the second walker, it fell over but was still alive for a second before Gabe struck downwards and finished it. Clem ran at the third one and kicked its knee, Gabe ran close behind and as the walker fell he pulled the bat back to swing. "Bring!" The bat viberated as it made contact with the walker's skull, killing it.

"Nice one Gabe." Clem said sheathing her knife.

Gabe, out of breath, simply nodded, but he was grinning, "another complement from Clem? I'm on a roll!"

Clem didn't notice the smile and pulled out her map, "Ok, we should take this road." She said pointing to road on the left of the bridge, the way they had first come to Richmond.

Clem put down the map and walked to the left edge of the bridge, she scanned the road for walkers.

Gabe picked up the map, McCarroll Ranch was circled in red and it was a long way from Richmond. Gabe wasn't great at maps but he guessed it would take weeks to months to get there. He didn't mind a long journey but for Clem....he wondered how much stress she was under, to know where AJ was and be going to him, but to be so far away...

"Hey Clem," Gabe said putting the map away and walking next to her, " I-oh." Gabe stopped as he saw what she was looking at, a easy dozen walkers, maybe more.

"What do you want to do?" Gabe asked looking at her face, which was unreadable.

She shrugged, "Shoot them." She pulled out her pistol, "Why don't you take out the ones over there, make sure you do it quietly." She said gesturing to two walkers who were coming from the other end of the bridge.
