When I got home I heard father talking about my grades and the detention, so I quickly went to my room, gathered some things and left through the window. I wasn't about to listen to the talk they we're planning. Not today.
So, I walked down the street, with my phone, notebook, headphones and vape. Yeah, I know. I vape. What about it?
I headed toward an abandoned house I usually went to, when I got bored or I wanted to escape home. It wasn't that trashed, so I could spend time there.
I opened the door, walked into the living room and sat down on a couch, that was left there. It was a little dirty, but who cares. I can wash my clothes afterall.
I settled down and opened my notebook. I started to draw stick figures out of boredom. I put on my headphones, turning on a good song I had found last week. I didn't really care, if someone found me there, because I could always run away.
I sat there for over half an hour, before turning the music off. I sighed and closed my notebook.
Suddenly there was a noise in the other room. I perked up and put my phone down. Who would be there?
Slowly and quietly I stood up, heading toward the room. I through the doorway, looking around the room. It was the kitchen and there was almost no light, reaching the room, since all the curtains were closed.
I saw someone walking to the kitchen from the other room and I ducked down, eyes glued on the person. He or she had a black hoodie, the hood covering their face. I think they noticed me, because they started walking to me.
I quickly ran to get my things, but when I turned around, the person was behind me. How the fuck did they get there so quickly?
"Um, hi?" I asked, trying to see their face.
"Oh, sorry. I forgot." The person laughed and took their hood off.
I recognized him. It was the dude from the party. The one who stared at me when I was dozing off.
"Y-you!?" I pointed at him, my mouth wide open.
"Yeah, it's me. Sorry, did I scare you?" He asked, smiling.
"N-no. Why are you here?" I asked him.
"I could ask you the same." The boy grinned. "I'm Hoseok."
I felt my stomach turn. What the actual fuck? Hoseok?
"I-I'm Hyungwon." I said, my voice trembling.
Hoseok smiled gently and sat down on the couch.
"I... saw you at the party." I said, looking at him.
"I know. I saw you too." He giggled. "But we never met again after that. It's lucky that we both happened to be here. I wanted to see you again." He said.
"Likewise." I mumbled, sitting down next to him. "C-can I like... have your number?"
"Yeah, why not." He shrugged.
"We can also meet here." He said.
I pondered for a moment but decided that why not. I had nothing too exciting going on in my life, so I could use some new friends.
"Sure... I think I should get going, but... see you tomorrow? Here?" I asked, standing up.
"Yeah, you'll find me here." He smiled. "See you then."
I nodded, took my things and walked out. This was really strange, but I enjoyed it. I just didn't understand why did the ouija board say that a Hoseok wanted to meet me, and then I meet a Hoseok? Made no sense at all.
