It had been two days since the incident. Two days without Hoseok.

It really had an effect on me. I had hard time listening to anyone. Teachers would ask me questions and I would just stare down on my notebook, not even realizing that someone is talking to me.

I noticed that my friends noticed it too. Kihyun kept a close eye on me.

When the lunch break came, I wandered off to somewhere, not even saying anything to my friends. Kihyun, Hyunwoo, Jooheon and Changkyun sat down in the cafeteria. Minhyuk wasn't there because he got sick after Namjoon's party.

"We need to do something." Kihyun said.

Hyunwoo nodded. "I agree, he's acting weirdly."

"But we don't know why." Jooheon pointed out.

"Dumbass, that's what we need to find out." Kihyun hissed.

Changkyun shook his head. "We can't spy on him. If you want to know, you have to ask him."

"But we all know he won't tell anything." Kihyun sighed.

"True." Jooheon nodded.

The boys sat in the cafeteria, trying to figure out what to do. Kihyun thought it would be a great idea to spy on Hyungwon, but Changkyun and Hyunwoo didn't agree on it. After a long conversation, Hyunwoo finally gave up.

"Okay, how do you want to spy him?" He asked Kihyun.

"Follow him."

"Home? Why?" Jooheon asked.

Kihyun shook his head in disappointment. "Not home... we'll follow him and see if he goes anywhere else."

"He goes to that abandoned house a lot." Changkyun said.

"The one where you found him?" Hyunwoo asked.

"Yeah, that one."

"Hmm... should we include Minhyuk to this?" Jooheon asked.

"No. Absolutely no." Kihyun said quickly. "He's a good friend and all, but I think we know that he won't be able to keep quiet about this. The worst scenario would be him telling Hyungwon."

"You're right. He's way too talkative." Changkyun agreed.

Hyunwoo nodded. "We'll just tell him afterwards."

I sat on the stairs of the small room, I usually fled to. It was nice and quiet room. I was way too scared to focus on anything, so I decided to hide myself. Luckily no one had come after me.

I stared at my phone in my hands. It seemed like an eternity, when I last spoke to Hoseok. I wanted to talk to him, but he was still a bit mad at me. It was still worth a try.

Me: Hoseok? Are you there?

Hoseok: I am.

Me: Are you still angry at me?

Hoseok: Yes.

Me: What can I do to make

you forgive me?

Me: I'll do anything.

Hoseok: Come see me in

the house tonight.

Me: Really?

Hoseok: Yes, I want to talk

to you, face to face.

Hoseok: But, you have to make

sure, no one else, but that one

friend of yours knows about this.

Hoseok: I hope you understand,

that I could get in trouble.

Me: I'll make sure

absolutely no one knows

about this.

Hoseok: Great. See

you later today.

Me: See you :)

The colors came back to my world. Light, warmth and hope came back. I felt something other than sadness.

After a long day, I walked excitedly toward the house, we were supposed to meet at. I walked through the door and headed into the living room. I didn't see him there, so I decided to sit down and wait.

Then he came. Hoseok was standing there, at the doorway.

I looked at him, smiling.

"Wipe off that stupid smile." Hoseok said harshly.

"O-okay."

He walked next to me and sat down. "If you really want to be friends with me, you'll have to behave."

"I know... I'm sorry."

"Being sorry isn't always enough." Hoseok said. "Do you realize how stupid you sound when you say sorry. It doesn't sound real."

I was shocked but kept my feelings down. "I didn't know that."

"Well, now you do." Hoseok sighed and leaned against the couch. "Also, your smile isn't that nice to look at."

I immediately closed my mouth, feeling insecure. "W-why?"

"I don't know. There's something about it." Hoseok shrugged. "But just so you know, real friends criticize each other, so this means I'm a real friend. You should be grateful."

"I am. I'm very grateful to be your friend." I said, looking down at my hands.

"Anyways. I hope you never break our promise again. If you do, I'm leaving."

I felt panic. He really said that? I looked at his eyes, which seemed almost emotionless. It made me wonder, was he feeling well? Maybe he was having a hard time in his life.

"I... Are you okay?" I asked quietly, not daring to make eye contact.

I could tell he was looking at me, because there was a long silence between us.

"Me? Am I okay?" He repeated, almost mockingly. "What would be wrong with me? I'm not a brat like you, who just can't listen to facts being said."

I crossed my arms. "I can hear the facts. I can listen to them."

"Why are you so sulky now then?" Hoseok asked.

Finally, I looked at him. I could almost see anger in his eyes, but I ignored it. Hoseok was good. Hoseok was the nicest person I knew. Nothing could change that.

"I... I just got surprised by it, okay?"

"Whatever. I have to go now." Hoseok huffed, standing up.

"Where?"

"Surprisingly enough, I have a life too, Hyungwon." Hoseok said. "Did you think I'm just always here?"

"Actually yes."

"How naive. Stop being so retarded, okay? I might like you more if you stop thinking like that." Hoseok laughed.

I nodded. "Okay, I'll try."

"Bye."

Then, he was gone. Again, he was gone.

Soon I was at home, sitting on my bed. I held my phone in my hand, pondering if I should text him or not. I really wanted to tell him something, but it would have to wait a little longer. I couldn't tell it now.
