Where am I? I can hear voices, but are they real ones? Why is there something on my body, it feels heavy.
I try to open my eyes, but the bright lights of the room blind me for a moment. I close my eyes, trying again after few seconds. Then I could see.
There was someone laying on top of me. Who was it? I try to examine the body of the person, but he or she moves quickly.
"H-hoseok?"
"Hey... sorry, did I wake you up?" Hoseok smiled slightly, but it made me uncomfortable.
"You said you were going to leave! Why are you here?" I asked him, feeling the anger build up inside me.
"I'm here... because I never wanted to leave you." Hoseok whispered, putting his head back to my lap. "And... I know you want answers."
"You're right. I want to know everything." I stated.
"Well, ask me a question and I'll answer." Hoseok smirked.
I rubbed my eyes quickly, trying to think. "W-why... did you come here, in the first place?"
Hoseok let out a long sigh. He moved away from the bed and stood up. He roamed around the room, finally settling down by the window.
"I came here... because you were getting weak, Hyungwon. You were basically asking someone to come."
"How? How was I weak?"
"They told you, right?"
"T-told me?"
"About your illness."
I felt my mouth go dry. I wanted to scream at him, but I knew what he said was true.
"So... you knew. You knew that I was sick?"
"I knew."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
Hoseok laughed. He glanced out of the window. "Hey, do you really think, you would've believed me, if I had just said... hey Hyungwon! I'm not real! I'm in your head! Oh, and did you know that all those other voices are in your head too?" He said, making it sound almost funny.
I didn't laugh.
"This is serious, Hoseok." I sighed. "I... okay, how did your name pop up on that stupid board then?"
"The ouija board?" Hoseok questioned.
I nodded.
"I guess, it was because you've made me up. I had been in your imagination all the time. My name, my looks, my voice... it's all your imagination." Hoseok said, leaning against the window, darkening the room.
"B-but... I hadn't met you yet." I stuttered.
"Yeah, but can you deny, hearing my voice before?"
"I... I have heard it before."
"That's what I thought." Hoseok stood up and walked next to the bed. "Or, actually... that's what I knew."
I grabbed the blanket, that was on top of my body. I squeezed it in my fists.
"Why am I fucked up? What happened?"
"I don't know, Hyungwon." Hoseok said. "I'm not real after all."
"Why did you say bad things about my friends? Were they really bad for me?" I asked, hesitating.
Hoseok launched towards the bed. He leaned over me, his eyes shining bright blue. "Haven't you taken anything seriously?" He asked, sounding threatening. "They're bad for you! Everyone is bad for you! They're trying to get you down! That doctor who asked you questions is trying to get me away from you! Is that what you want!?"
"N-no... I want you here." I whispered. I was getting scared.
Hoseok glared at me. "Then prove it."
"H-how?"
"Escape." Hoseok stated. "Escape, so we can live together... Once, you've gotten out of here... I'll take you with me. I promise."
I could see a small smile on his lips. It made me happy. I wanted him to take me with him. I wanted to go.
"Okay. I'll do it." I said, my grip tightening around the blanket.
"Tonight." Hoseok said.
"Tonight." I repeated.
"I hope you will succeed, because only then... we can truly be together." Hoseok smiled. "Only then..."
