I had no idea, where everyone was. Where my friends were, my parents? No clue.
I decided, that I just need to be careful, when leaving the room. Hoseok promised to help me, but I honestly didn't know if I could trust him. He has been so nice to me, but sometimes he's scary. First, I didn't want to admit how scary he could get, but now... I have realized it.
"Are you going to come, Hyungwon?" Hoseok asked, impatient.
"Yeah... we just need to check if there's anyone in the hallway." I mumbled.
Hoseok went through the door. His head popped back in. "I don't see anyone."
"Hoseok, I don't know if I can trust you on this... I'll get out, I promise." I said.
"Right... I'll wait for you in the house then." Hoseok said, sulking.
"Yes, wait for me there."
He left, leaving me alone in the room. I hesitated, before getting up from the bed. They had left me in a room, in case I have another... what did they call it? I don't know, some kind of episode. I hand't really listened to them.
I tried looking for my phone, but I didn't find it. That lead me to a conclusion, that my parents or my friends have it. What ever, I don't need it anymore.
However, I found my notebook and my pen. Those I wanted to keep.
I went to the door, quickly opening it and peeking out. There was no one in the hallway. I left the room, leaving the door slightly open. I tiptoed through the hallway, finding myself in a larger room, which had elevators. I peeked around the corners and saw a nurse walking into a room, which I assumed was a patient's room. I quickly backed up against a wall.
I looked around, trying to find a way to escape. The elevator would make a sound, which would alarm the nurse, but it would be the fastest way down. There was also a door, which had a sign above it. Stairs...
I bolted towards the door, opening it. There were long stairs. I celebrated in my head as I started going down them.
I had to get through the lobby, without anyone noticing me. Now I was glad, I had watched all of those agent movies, so I had an idea, how to be sneaky. I should just imitate them, hugging walls, peeking around corners. Maybe even distracting nurses to get past them. I had to get out of the hospital, but I had to be careful. Otherwise, Hoseok would be taken away from me. That's not what I want...
"Should we head home?" Kihyun asked carefully.
Everyone was half asleep. They thought they could go see Hyungwon, but it turned out he had already fallen asleep. A nurse told them, they could wait in the lobby for him to wake up, but it had been two hours.
"Yeah. I think it's a good idea." Hyunwoo said.
"But... what if he wakes up? I want to see if he's okay." Minhyuk sighed.
Jooheon nodded. "I don't want to miss the chance to see him."
"But it's already two in the morning." Kihyun reasoned.
It made Minhyuk and Jooheon silent. They looked around the lobby. There were almost no one around. Hyungwon's parents had left, which felt odd to them. Why would they leave already?
"Let's go, okay?" Changkyun suddenly said.
"Fine. You can stay at my place for the night, if you want." Jooheon said.
"That would be great, thank you." Kihyun smiled. "We can come here in the morning, right guys?"
"Of course. Let's sleep for few hours and come back." Hyunwoo said.
They got up, picking their stuff. Then they headed for the door.
The walk to Jooheon's house felt slow and quiet, but they managed. They settled down in the living room, closing their eyes. Hyungwon would be safe in the hospital. They didn't need to worry. He was safe.
"Kihyun?"
Kihyun opened his eyes and saw Changkyun sitting up on the couch. "Yeah?"
Changkyun seemed worried. "I... I have a bad feeling. What if something bad happened?" He said, his voice shaking.
"Hey... Chankyun, he's in hospital. They'll keep him safe." Kihyun smiled reassuringly.
Changkyun rubbed his hands together. "I don't know... I just feel worried for him. How could he snap like that?"
"I don't know, kyunnie. I have no clue." Kihyun sighed.
"What do you think it was?" Changkyun asked quietly.
"I... have an idea..."
"What is it?"
Kihyun looked elsewhere. "I think it's better if we hear it from the doctor. I don't want to lay down things, that might not be true."
"Okay..."
"Let's just catch some sleep, yeah?"
Changkyun nodded, laying himself back down. "I want him to be safe."
"Me too." Kihyun whispered, settling himself on the mattress. "But don't worry. We'll see him and we can talk things through."
"Yeah, I just hope he understands us."
"He will."
"Okay, goodnight hyung."
"Goodnight."
