WHAT GODDESS
He's drowning in thoughts of you,
And the water is sweet like novocaine.
He's on his knees and ready to worship
The newfound goddess of death,
If that's what this is.
Surely, he thinks, this isn't life.
And if this is what death feels like, he's
Willing to die a thousand times over again
For the next taste of sweet sweet novocaine.
