A CAUTIONARY TALE
To condemn: to judge or pronounce to be unfit for use or service.
Like an old building in the heart of Los Angeles,
who has seen one too many earthquakes.
The crumbling bricks only look stable enough
on the outside to keep the caving shape intact.
The inside though, the inside tells a different story.
The pure vibrancy of the paint brightens the walls with it's personality.
Like a human heart that hasn't seen intimate contact in awhile,
it continues to look like it thrives,
despite a history of abandonment and neglect.
This is a warning to not enter the dangerous and condemned walls of my heart.
Appearances aren't everything.
