Todoroki P.O.V.
-Three months later-
Everything was radiant, and somehow everyone was happy. Three months  had passed and most of the drama had slipped away. Iida and ochaco were as close as two peas in a pod. It was so gratifying to see them happy together since forever. They both got along so well and it was clear seeing the attachment on their faces. Even Bakugo was happy he and Kirishima have had a great friendship for quite sometime. It was good to see him have at least one great friend.

Life was for once great again, me and Midoriya were as close as ever. We both decided it was best to keep our feelings a secret from everyone. If they all knew it would just ruin the happiness we've all had for the past few months. Every Friday me and Midoriya would go out for coffee or do some thing together. It's nice to have someone close to hangout with, just as friends though. Life is good at U.A., it is peaceful everywhere for once.

My mom had even found peace by moving out of the hospital. She was doing so much better. She found happiness finally after many long years. I started to see her more often than I already had, Midoriya even stopped by to say hello at one point. The purple flowers lining her now new home were so pretty. I'm glad she's doing so well, especially the social boundaries she has over come. I opened the door to my room peering out and looking for my friends.

I found myself wandering down to the garden to hang out with Midoriya, iida, and ochaco. They were all sitting down on the blue stained benches, laughing and smiling. I was so grateful for the new friends I have, they've all been so caring especially Midoriya. It was strange the way we all came together it was almost too good to be true.

"Hey guys." I gave them a wave and sat down.
"Hey todoroki! We were just talking about going to the mall on Friday wanna come?" Ochaco asked.
"Oh..yeah no problem, sounds fun. What were you guys planning on doing?" I questioned.
"Going shopping, maybe something to eat. Just out for fun." Midoriya's face lit up.

I couldn't help but feel good. We sat on the benches talking about family, friends, training. The sun was leaving a glistening reflection on the small pond in the court yard and it was glaring up at us. The trees were all swaying to the light breeze in the air, now I knew why everyone was in such a good mood today. It was so beautiful outside, and looking around I knew today and the days to come would be great.

Denki, Mina, and sero were out by the big tree in front of the school. They seemed to be having a good day too.

"Hey mina! Guys come sit with us!" Ochaco waved them over as they all scurried down the small path.

"Hey guys!" Mina smiled and sat down so did sero, and denki. Everyone started to talk. I stared up at the huge tree above us watching more of the petals drift to the ground while the others talked, I saw a strange purple flower under the tree. It seemed to have crumpled up from the shade and not being able to get sunlight.

From the corner of my vision I saw all might walk our way. Everyone else must have too because it wasn't just all might...it was a lot of the school representatives. Mr.Aizawa, the principal, and all might. Something wasn't good. The bright sunny day was about to plunge into a dark night.

They strolled up to us a sad expression was wiped across their faces.

"Todoroki, do you mind coming with us?" I gave them a worried look.

"Um, yeah sure what's going on?"
I looked at them a puzzled look on my face.

"We will explain if we can talk to you privately." Mr.Aizawa gestured to the other students.

I waved goodbye and all my friends looked worried. Something bad was going on and somehow it involved me. We stepped into the school, and into a small room. They sat me down and they all gave me the same look.

"So what did you need me to talk about?" I looked at them and they kept silent. What could it be?

"Todoroki...." Mr.Aizawa gave a sigh.

"Before I tell you we need you to know that it's going to be okay." He sighed again giving a sad expression again.

"Okay..." I tilted my head to the side worried about the news to come.
They got silent again.

"Can someone tell me what's going on? Am I in trouble? Did I do something wrong..." and finally it slipped out the worst news....I've heard ever in my entire life. Even worse than my dad's abuse...

"Todoroki....your mom has passed away."
