I took a deep breath as I wrapped the blindfold around my head after I got in my position."We got this babe." My chest warmed when Lucas ran his fingers across my hand. I could see a little, but mostly just shapes. When the light came onto us I listen for the music. My worries, my fears, my doubts...melted away. It's Destiny. Like Lyla said.

I started in the school studio to get away...get away from my parents, school, and the kids in the school. I danced to keep my mind at bay. But this...this competition...Lucas all has to mean something. The insane things that have happened to me since the audition. Me actually talking to my brother again, starting youtube, just being with Lucas. Never would have seen that coming. But it all happened.

Every moved I made was perfect. When I took my blindfold off it was easy to smile with Lucas. Every moment we hit together. When we stopped the crowd went wild. We watched as it turned into a standing ovation.

"I don't think I can say anything besides, you two are just magic. Every time I see you I'm wondering what you'll do next." Judge number one said.

"If dancing blindfolded in the quarterfinals makes me wonder what you'll bring us next." Judge two said. The last one, almost speechless. We ran backstage everyone gathering around. All where surprised. They got Angel and Brian back to the side stage to do their performance. Andy stood next to me holding my hand.

"Where do you two come up with this stuff?" She asked me.

"I don't know. It just happens. Besides, the blindfolds was Lucas's idea."

"You guys will rule the school you know that right?" I let out a small laugh as I pulled her into a hug. She was going last and was clearly nervous. If she got in she got more than the last semester this year and then one whole year at the school. She gets 3 and a half years at that school. She'd be able to grow and flourish. And compared to the rest of us she's dancing with the same levels and expertise as Lucas or I. She'll be great.

Dance after Dance then it was the group dance where we all danced together before eliminations. Lined up Lucas and I the first to be safe. I could feel my life changing every second I'm on stage. I could see my dreams coming true.

I Woke up to my phone ringing instead of my alarm. I sat up eyesight still not very clear and voice clearly groggy. "Hello?" I asked.

"Good, you're up." I heard Lucas say.

"I wasn't."

"You are now. Meet me at Flip Fun Gymnastic in one hour." he ended the call before I could say anything. I looked at the clock seeing it was 5:30. I could just not show up. I could just go back to sleep. But that wouldn't give me the chance to hit and yell at him for waking me up before my alarm. But he also wouldn't do this if it wasn't for good reasons. Kicking off my covers I stood and went straight for my dresser. I pulled out a sports bra, Nike shorts, and a tank top. I changed before going to the bathroom to brush my teeth and tame my hair into a bun.

I grabbed some orange juice and my water bottle before grabbing my keys. The roads were more clear than I was used to considering I normally leave during school traffic. But I had made it to the gym on time I walked in seeing Lucas talk to a man maybe in his thirties. He was pretty muscular but he had a slimness to him. Lucas grabbed my hand and brought me over to him.

"Skylar, as I live and breath it's an honor to meet you." The man shook my hand and I couldn't help but raise my eyebrows. "I'm Leo. I help dancers learn stunts. I've been in Hollywood though working in the business."

"Well, what brought you here?" I asked.

"My uncle is Lucas father's college roommate. I was happy to come up and meet the most popular dance couple."

"He's going to teach us some tricks that will definitely push us through the rest of the competition."

"Stage one looks for those kids willing to push the limits. Both of you will have to continue to work on strength but I see no problem in being able to do the tricks I'm teaching you do today."

"Then let's get started no matter how much I want to sleep." Lucas grabbed my hand and then pulled me to the floor. A bouncy floor that made it a little easier to learn the tricks. The big mats below made it feel a little safer.  The more we learned the more confident I felt about us actually winning the competition. We might be a crowd favourite but anything can happen everyone in the competition is amazing in their own way.

Leaving the gym we changed into some school clothes and left me driving behind Lucas. Once at school both parked and made their way down the hall until we reached his locker. "Wanna make a video later?"

"What video? It's not vlogs day.."

"Just one for your channel. A QandA I did a poll this morning while we were waiting for you."I watched as he pulled out his phone. It opened to the screen showing 100 percent of people want a QandA from me on my channel.

"I mean...if the people want it."

"Guys!!!"Lyla ran down the hall to us. She came to a sudden stop as she reached us making me catch her. "Your parents...just wrote something... on your mother's Facebook. It's gone viral."

"What." She held out her phone out but I grabbed it reading the post. The rather long post.

"Skylar Harrison is my daughter." Lucas started reading out loud. "Growing up she liked to dance but as parents, we helped her to understand that she needed to look at things more than just dancing. The older she got the more rebellious she became."

"Since she entered this competition," I cut in." Without my permission, she has fought relentlessly to get what she wanted. Even to the extent of leaving the home. There's an image of her that unfortunately isn't true. As her mother I feel I right to set the record straight. Skylar Harrison is not the person she is showing the world."

"I'm going to kill your mother. Spreading these lies about you like that. And to what? Hurt you to get you back home."

"They tried to manage me. Tried to control me. I refused. She's lashing out. My parents are more messed up than I thought." The burning in my bones, the blood I can feel boil took over. I grabbed my bag and keys and started leaving the building.

"I've got to see this."Lyla said as she got by my side.

"Don't think you're doing this without me either. I'm going to make sure the world knows the real truth." Lucas said catching up as well.

"You bring you camera?"

"Of course."

"I'm doing the talking. I'm going to make sure they say what they need to. This stops now."
