By the end of the evening, you and Enjolras had slept with each other...
And to your great surprise, you had enjoyed it quite a bit.
Perhaps it was the fact that Enjolras's performance most definitely outdone that of the other men you had slept with, or because an abundance of love was thrown into the equation, but you found yourself a giddy mess afterwards.
Everyone seemed to pick up on that at the meeting, too.
"You look happy," Grantaire said, sketching in the new notebook he had invested quite a good chunk of his money in. He had asked if he could draw you again, and it seemed almost as if your happiness had rubbed off on him. He smiled softly as he sketched an outline of you sitting across from him. "What's happened?"
"Oh... Nothing," you said with a slight smile, your face heating up as you glanced down in front of you. "It's just... I might be deliriously happy- it's been a long day."
Grantaire gave a slight nod, glancing up at you with a soft smile before looking back to the paper. He continued sketching everything out.
"Hello, love," Enjolras said, bending down to give you a tight hug from behind and press a fat kiss against your cheek. You practically melted into him- after all, he was the man who single-handedly changed your perspective on just about... well, everything. You smiled even more. "Would you mind helping me set up for tonight?"
"Of course I'll help, 'Jolras," you said, glancing up at him. "Give me a moment."
He smiled and pressed yet another kiss against your cheek.
"Lovely."
You turned back to Grantaire, whose jaw had dropped as Enjolras began to walk away.
"Holy hell, I haven't ever seen him smile like that," he blinked. After a moment, however, he just returned to sketching. "You can go now, if you'd like— I've got a good enough memory."
"Oh— are you sure?" you asked.
"Yeah," he said, flashing you a slight smile. "But you do owe me a lunch. Or a dinner. Or whatever other meal you have available. I really missed having you around."
You smiled gratefully.
"Thank you so much, 'Taire," you said with a smile as you stood up. You don't know what made you do it, but all of a sudden, you just made your way over and planted a kiss on his cheek— and, guaranteed, he went a bright red. "You're a lifesaver."
Though flustered, he was able to stammer out a grateful "thank you," and his hand continued to shoot up to the spot where you had kissed him.
He hardly believed he was worthy of that.
You were quick to get into the back room, where Enjolras was picking up bottles (naturally, as it seemed that many of the boys you were working with had a bit of a drinking problem).
"How can I help?" you asked the moment you entered. He glanced back at you with a small smile, and as he pushed in a few chairs, he offered you a slight wink.
"Just needed the company," he said. You gave a slight chuckle and, naturally, began collecting some of the other bottles— just to (at least feel) productive.
He smiled over at you as he placed them underneath the counter.
"Come here for a moment, will you?" he asked.
Naturally, you made your way over without a moment of hesitation, and Enjolras wrapped his arms around you before pressing a long kiss against the side of your head.
