YN's POV
Maria had just finished telling us the story of her Silver Eyes, how she lost them, and her days as the Grimm Reaper. We all sat in awe looking at Maria. "I went into hiding soon after" Maria said solemnly

"...I can't believe it. You. You're the Grimm Reaper. You were a legend. And you disappeared" Qrow said in shock

"How exactly does a legend just disappear?" Oscar asked

Qrow spoke up again "You never used your name, never showed your face. Lots of us thought you were just layin' low. Eventually, we came to accept you were probably dead. But the stories about you, I based my weapon off of yours. I wanted to be as good as the Grimm Reaper"

"That's kind of adorable" Maple whispered

"Well, I'm nothing but a disappointment, so you're well on your way" Maria said staring down at the snowy path as it based underneath us

"How can you say that?" Blake asked

"Child, a huntress is supposed to protect others to the bitter end. but after I lost my eyes I only looked out for myself. Even after my surgery I was to afraid to fight, afraid someone would find me again, finish what the others started." Maria sighed

"But you jumped into that well to save us. I'd say that counts for something even if it wasn't direct protection you still kept us safe" I offered

"If I had left you six down there I would've been stuck with a grieving uncle, a farmhand still trying to find his place, and a lantern. It helped you but it was for my benefit too. And remember I didn't fight with you I just helped you run" Maria explained as everything went quiet once again

"You shouldn't aspire to be like me, especially when some of you are clearly stronger already. It's comforting seeing that your generation seems up to the task of inheriting this world. I'm just sorry I didn't do more to leave it in better shape" Maria sighed again

"...Well, maybe you can do something now. Teach me to use my powers the way you did" Ruby offered

Maria turned to us with the first small smile we had seen from her in a while. Ruby's pocket began to vibrate as her scroll got a call. She pulled it out and gasped with an excited smile "It's Jaune" Ruby smiled as Yang stopped Bumblebee

I smiled and chuckled at the fact he was saved as "Vomit Boy" to her contacts. "How?" Weiss asked

"Maybe we're getting close" I shrugged

"Hello?" Ruby said into her scroll

We couldn't hear Jaune speaking so just waited for Ruby's answers. "The city? Wait" She pulled the scroll from her ear and looked forward to see that further down on the path the snow was melted and we seemed to be approaching the city.

"How did you not notice that before Yang?" I asked tilting my head

"Sorry if I was focused on other things" Yang said gesturing to Maria

"Shoulda' been focused on driving" I mumbled before Ruby shushed me and talked to Jaune again "We'll see you soon Jaune" Ruby smiled and hung up

We drove up the hill towards a cliff side where we could see the entire city of Argus. We looked on in awe as Yang smiled and turned to us "Ladies and gentlemen. We have arrived in Argus"

We drove down the hill and into the city finding the nearest garage for Yang to store Bumblebee. We all looked around at the sprawling city we were standing in. Maple's ears stood up as she looked to the left "Is that-?" She started but was cut off by Nora dashing into our field of view
