The shield made by the seven immediately trapped the blast, though it seemed to fighting its fabric. Jay suddenly increased the surge of his zeal, causing Vlad's power to diminish as it reacted with the shield.

Mildred emptied her thoughts, becoming aware of all that was in that space. She was prudent as she began to enter Vlad's mind though her soft and invisible aura gave the being no indication of her presence.

The energy was at equilibrium but the chaotic impulses overwhelmed Mildred's mind. Such a raucous environment, a quelling sensation that could cause her senses to collapse. But she remained firm, fighting off that energy. It was the natural environment of that space, not something Vlad imposed on her. He had to bear it and she would, too.

An amicable and respectful aura momentarily alleviated Mildred. She didn't know who it was but that presence made itself known and that it would help the Shadow Beings and especially the Demons. Mildred wondered how it could bear to be in that haunting environment for so long... those souls, those memories, those abandoned thoughts and emotions. For now Mildred could only express her gratitude.

Mildred shifted her focus back to Vlad. The environment's intensity decreased gradually, both because of familiarity and because of Vlad's focus on the Seven. What they did would cost them their lifespan; words couldn't express how grateful she was for them. She certainly felt powerful bonds with each Shadow, some stronger than others.

She began to delve into that mess of energy, able to sense the horrors of what lay inside, but such things had no effects on her, such truths she knew all too well. She recognised the blanket of energy around that mess and began to pull it, moderately using and supplying her energy. Vlad felt that force but before he could act Jay lulled his control on his mind, allowing Menod to vaguely aid Mildred and the Shadow to work with ease. The weight of the questions in his mind and the subdued sentiments could engulf her but somehow, she still remained unaffected. It was as if her mind was absolute, unalterable. At least in that moment.

The energy then began to expand quickly and so did her guilt. Vlad grew more and more numb as his senses dulled, the Seven finally breaking away and the Demons slipping into their long slumber. However, Mildred knew she had to tell him this one last thing. She simply had to.

"Vlad, you are a mix, perhaps a mess of emotions. Even though Rage is a prominent part of you, it is not who you are just as darkness is one perceptive element of a Shadow. You've been referred to as Sousconic's Rage, right? The calm entity, the one who observes and is award of all horrifying noises and all peace.

"If the Shadow and nature are different, Vlad, you are not a part of nature. Nature exists just as it is; unbiased, it is what it is. The Shadow Dimension is even more singular which is why its beings are mostly more conscious than that of nature, of 'existence'. The Rage in you is an element of nature but everything else is borrowed from the vigour if Shadows. There is a conflict within you and as much as I dislike it, it is what will stop this increase of chaos amongst shadows in nature. The two go hand in hand but they should never clash, and this conflict has made you. I do not like conflict but at least, it gave you no soul but the essence of a heart and the integrity of a mind. You share memories with the universes of the Seven Lands and you care for us, I know. We will all know and for everything, I thank you."

With her last words, Vlad rested.

"Until we meet again."

Those last words were delivered to every Shadow present in the space but especially to Vlad, Pranetra and Jay. A pang of sorrow and despair threatened to leak from Vlad but Mildred had achieved her task; the bubble was complete and stronger than anything. With a final sensation of power everything went silent, still. Jay could only say one last thing and he didn't know if Mildred heard it or not, but he had to say it fir himself at the very least.

'When I guide the united every you leave for your soul, your duty. I think you understand what happens when it is your turn.

'Thank you.'
